define traveling wave solution

Prachi Panda 26th Apr, 2022

Hello,

A traveling wave solution of the system has the form v ( x , t ) = v ( k x − ω t ) , where denotes the wave number and the frequency of the traveling wave with the dispersion relation determined by the dynamical equation.

A traveling wave is a wave in which the particles of the medium move progressively in the direction of the wave propagation with such a gradation of speeds that the faster overtake the slower and are themselves in turn overtaken.

Thank you.

after practice one chapter in math why I forget the chapters questions after 1 month?

manjumolakalapalli5 23rd Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing good.

it seems that you are having a problem with maths and numericals.

grow your interest in the subject and invest interest in studying. just connect your concept with visual memory, do not just by hard any topic and try to memorize formulas and get to know how and where to apply them. know the process behind those formulae and keep track of math vocabulary. consistency is the key to remember anything for a long time. even you practice for 1 month and if you do not revise that topic for once a 5 days, then its not gonna be in your memory. So revision helps a lot to memorize. As the saying goes " Practice makes one perfect..." just practice and revise that topic most often. it can help you to an extent.

Hope this information helps you...

All the best.
