Hello firoz,

Congrats for getting good percentile. Since you haven't mentioned your category. If you are other than general you have chances of getting into top nits, if you  are general , you don't have an opportunity to get into nit.  Do well in advanced don't stop with mains. All the best.

if sum of 3rd and4th term of gp is 60 and the sum of 6th&7th is 480 then what is the 10th term

S. Saha Student Expert 30th Nov, 2019
Let, a be the first term of series and r be the common ratio.
So, by question we can write-

Sum of 3rd and 4th terms-
ar^2+ar^3 = 60
Or, ar^2 (1+r) = 60 .......(1)

Sum of 6th and 7th terms-
ar^5+ar^6 = 480
Or, ar^5 (1+r) = 480 ........(2)

Now, ar^2(1+r)/60 = ar^5(1+r)/480
Or, r= ....... (solve the equation, you will get r).
Now put the value of r in eq. 1 or 2. You will get the value of a.
Now, 10th term will be-
a * r^(10-1) = ...... (solve it by putting the value of a and r)

FUTURE STUDY WITH BIO, CHEM,MATH ? I really bad in physics... but,in hs exam i will definitely pass with 40-50 marks i want to know about some carriers guide and future study after 12 with BCM

Pankhuri Kumari 23rd Nov, 2019

Dear student

Do not worry about being bad in physics. You need to get atleast 33% marks in each subject to pass in board exams. If you do well in your practical exams and then score 40-50 marks in physics you can pass in physics easily. After 12th you can opt for any couse which does not include physics. Some  BSc colleges provide you subject combination options such as ZCB( zoo, chem, botany) ZCM( zoo, chem, maths) etc., You can opt for any of them and make your career.  After BSc you get the placement opportunities in the same college sometimes. You can even go for fields other than science such Arts and Commerce ( where you get maths as an option or a major subject). If you are interested in literature related field go for arts. There are various other career options apart from this such as mass communication, computer science, forensics, economics, hotel management, and the list doesn't end. So, relax and focus on your boards first and then choose your field according to your wish. The thing which matters the most is, you should love what you do then only you will succeed in life.

All the best.
