This is because in order to be admitted to the M.Sc. in Mathematics programme, one must have studied mathematics for at least two years or four semesters in their undergraduate programme. There are no restrictions on subjects taken in 10+2 and they won't even be taken into account when deciding your eligibility for admission; just your class 12th percentage will be taken into account.
