Hi My name is v.suresh reddy studying intermediate 2nd year in madanapalli.im weak in mathematics and I write EAPCET exam in Ap for upcoming months how many marks I can score in EAPCET and I would get an autunomous college for my further studies and I would like to Ask this question?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 22nd Nov, 2021

Hello,

To get seat in an institute through AP EAPCET you need to score minimum qualifying marks in AP EAPCET. The minimum qualifying marks for general category is 25% marks or 40 marks out of 160 marks. SO you need to score minimum 40 marks in AP EAPCET to qualify. For SC/ST category there is no qualifying mark. Just scoring the cut off marks may not fetch you seat in a decent institute. You need to score above the qualifying mark.  The cut off for each college is different and the cut off is institute specific and category specific. Taking the previous year cut off in to consideration you need to score minimum 80-100 marks or above if you belong to general category and if you belong to reserved category you should aim to score minimum 70-80 marks or above in AP EAPCET. Cut off may increase or decrease depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To check the previous year cut off click on the link given below

baishugoodly 31st Dec, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

First of all, you have to share your marks with us so, we can do a detailed analysis of your query and cut off of BHU PET 2021 exam.

Secondly, on overall analysis, the cut off for M. Sc. Mathematics is EWS rank from 27 ( 102 ) to 37 (78 ) according to the admission matrix released by BHU. There is less chance for open counselling.

Thank you, I hope you have found the information useful.

Prateek kumar 19th Nov, 2021

Dear student,

The average marks are never taken best of all your subjects, the average scored are either for all the subject or the core subject that are:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics/Biology

The marks you are need to get into the forms or which will decide your merit will be stated on the field of the forms and the subject are mentioned there. So you don't need to worry about that.

is any chapter in mathematics for jee which do not have connections(EASY CHAPTER PLS) with any other chapter i am a dropper pls help Except coordinate geometry and statistics and reasoning

Anirudh Singh 18th Nov, 2021

Hi

There is no easy way out to covering mathematics syllabus for someone who is taking a gap year and will be giving JEE Mains exam in 3 months or so. You can follow these guidelines to aid your studies:

Start with the NCERT

NCERT books form the base for the JEE entrance exams, especially for the JEE Main. A common mistake made by many students is to start with reference books directly while their concepts and theoretical knowledge are not very strong.

NCERT books will give you a firm grounding of concepts and, thus, are the best books to start your preparation. It is also worth noting that 60-70% of the JEE Main paper is based on NCERT books. However, they are not enough for practical questions.

Make a routine for yourself.

Nope, not a detailed one. Just a list of the subjects you want to read daily in the upcoming days. Don’t list down what topics you would read.

Get a copy of the syllabus for Mains printed.

This is more of a confidence-boosting thing as you can keep a track of how much you are prepared. Seeing the prepared things crossed off some list helps calm our erratic mindset in the remaining months and helps boost self-confidence.

Solve as many practice papers you can. If you feel you are prepared in a particular subject, go through the previous years question papers and solve them keeping in mind the time you have allotted to that subject for yourself during the actual exam. Don’t focus on the marks you are getting. Focus on improving your speed and accuracy. And that requires a lot of practice. I, for one, had given around 30 full length papers keeping the time in mind. As an added challenge, in some papers, I used to keep 2:30 hrs time instead of the normal 3 hrs time so as to improve on my speed, and it helped a great deal.

If you have a limited time, you can follow these points:

  1. Advisably, you should spend 4-5 hours daily for theory revision and finish off theory part. Understand your learning pattern and which chapters you like and in which chapters you need to work more.
  2. For next 2-3 weeks make sure that you give one full syllabus JEE Main or Advanced type mock test every alternate day. Spend the remaining part of that day in detailed analysis of the paper and again reading theory. This will further improve your speed.
  3. In last 14-15 days, try to solve variety of questions from all the study material available to you.

You can get more such tips on our website(https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/how-prepare-for-jee-main), which has been curated with great tips.

I hope this helps.

Good Luck
