Maths and Science
Hello Aspirant
So your marks are as below
Telugu- 33 (as you said pass mark)
Math- 40
Science- 40
English- 60
Social Science- 40
Your Grade Point will be 33+40+40+60+40= 213
(213/500)*100= 42.6%
To convert this into CGPA, divide this by 9.5
42.6/9.5= 4.48 CGPA.
This is on the basis of your speculative marks, so you get marks around what you have mentioned, your grade point will be between 4.5 to 6 CGPA.
Hope this helps

Hi aspirant,
This depends upon how it is stated. If it is said that 75 percent in maths and science, then it refers to 75 percent score in both the subjects individually. But if word like aggregate or average is used then we need to add the scores from both the subjects and divide it by 2.
In most of the cases, latter stands to be stated.
Hope it helps!!
Yes of course you can take Biology, Physics and Chemistry in class 12th NIOS because it has no any criteria making compulsory to read Mathematics and Science in class 10th. So even if you have passed 10th NIOS without Mathematics and Science subject then also you can appear for NIOS 12th with PCB and can get your result for the same.
You can check out the eligibility criteria for NIOS 12TH from the link given below :-
