TELL ME MBA ADMISSION PROCESS ?

mrinalini048 3rd Feb, 2022

Hey!

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two-year post-graduate programme offered in a variety of specialisations throughout India and abroad. The best MBA colleges in India admit students based on a national level entrance exam called the Common Aptitude Test (CAT), which is held once a year. MBA programmes are available in a variety of formats, including regular, online, and distance education.

Eligibility:-

Academic details, minimum graduation grades, lower and maximum age limits, nationality, and other factors are used to determine MBA admissions eligibility.

  • Candidates seeking admission to MBA 2022-24 must meet a set of qualifying requirements, which include the following:
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution or institute in any field.
  • Candidates in their last year of study are also eligible to apply for MBA admission if they can produce the necessary documentation at the time of admission.
  • For open category applicants, a minimum of 50% in graduation is necessary, whereas reserved category candidates must have a minimum of 45 percent.
  • Candidates must have passed any national, state, or university admission test with a valid score.

All B-schools need applicants to take an entrance exam, sometimes known as an MBA admission test. One of the following sorts of tests can be used:

  • On behalf of the other participating colleges, an apex testing body or a top national management school conducts a national level entrance test. CAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA are some examples.
  • On behalf of the other participating universities in that state, a state-level testing authority or a top state B-school conducts a State Level Entrance Test. MAH-CET, KMAT, OJEE, TANCET, or APICET are some examples.
  • A B-school conducts a test for admission to its own MBA programme. Other management schools may accept these scores as a qualification requirement in specific situations. IIFT, XAT, NMAT, SNAP, and IBSAT are other examples.
  • University conducting a test for entrance to MBA programmes being offered by colleges that are affiliated with it. Examples are KIITEE, HPU MAT
