MBA Colleges in India
MBA or Masters in Business Administration is a very popular course. If You are looking for an MBA college in Bihar, CVRU Bihar is a very good option. The university provides placements as well.
It is this data that is mostly found exaggerated, even to the extent of being blatant lies. The MBA colleges know that students seek better placements and often lie to get the next batch of students. Remember how the IIPM used to lie till the same was exposed by Careers360. It is in this context that relying on credible declarations and regulatory filings becomes important.
There is enough data that is available now to understand the placement statistics of B-Schools and MBA colleges. The list that I am making for you is from the data that is submitted to regulatory agencies ( AICTE (https://www.aicte-india.org/) , UGC etc.) or to ranking agencies ( NIRF (https://www.nirfindia.org/Home) , Careers360). More importantly, a generic question on placements has to be divided into two parts:
i) The average or median salary: This is a better measure to understand the quality of placements. Lot many MBA colleges talk of the highest package which is a mistake that is best avoided as it may be a one-off offer or may be an international placement converted into Indian rupees. The median salary will account for all the placements and the average salary across the class size that has been placed. Even in this, there is a catch which the current data sets do not catch, that is, international placements. An MBA institution having high international placement will have a high average salary affecting the data. Barring this anomaly, median salary remains the best measure of the graduation outcome of a B-School.
ii) Percentage of class placed: A college may just have a fraction of its student placed to show a high average salary. Hence, it is important to understand the class size and the number of students placed. There is one caveat to this measure. In the best B-Schools, much of the class may prefer to join a family business or become an entrepreneur. Hence, we should provide for those students who opted out of placement to determine the placement percentages.
Here are the best B-Schools based on placement in Mumbai (only of those for which we have the data that we thought were credible)

SPJIMR, Mumbai

Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.
As per your category and expected percentile in CAT with other academic data which you have provided in the question you have very low chances for getting Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi.
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's selection results and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To check the cut-off of all IIMs and other B-schools, kindly check out the link given below :-

Good Luck!!
There are quite a few entrance examinations for admission to MBA across India. For example, IIMs accept only CAT score. And XAT is specifically for XLRI. FMS accepts CAT score. ISB accepts GMAT or GRE. MICAT is specifically for MICA. These are just examples of the types of entrance examinations we have for MBA. And each exam has its own pattern and so the cut off might not be uniform, You cannot compare CAT's score and cut offs with that of XATs. For example,
CAT exam paper can be Categorised into 3 parts:
Quantitative Ability
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
The Verbal Ability section and Reading Comprehension has 34 Questions, Data interpretation-Logical Reasoning section has 32 MCQ questions and Quantitative Ability has 34 MCQ questions totalling up to 100 questions. Each Question has 3 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark.
On the other hand, XAT has a different exam pattern altogether. If you look at XAT pattern, it has 2 sections. Part 1 has VAlr, Decision Making, QA DI while Part 2 has General Knowledge. Every correct answer gets you 1 mark and a wrong answer in Part 1 takes away 0.25 in the form of negative marking and there is no negative marking for GK
This is just between CAT and XAT. Then we have GMAT, NMAT, ATMA, SNAP etc. So to generalise the cut offs is not an option. Please visit our page to check the top MBA colleges across India and their entrance exam at: https://bschool.careers360.com/colleges/ranking
