After 12th science with PCB, to get MBBS admission in a college, you must qualify NEET exam. Apply for NEET UG examination , clear it with good marks, then join counselling (AIQ or state quota). Based on your rank and category, you'll get a seat in a govt or private medical college.
If you’re planning to study MBBS in Uttarakhand, AIIMS Rishikesh is the best government medical college in the state. It boasts top-level facilities, strong academics, and, most importantly, offers PG reservation for its own MBBS students. That means if you complete your MBBS there, you’ll get preference for PG (MD/MS) seats under institutional quota.
Next in line is the Government Doon Medical College, Dehradun. It is a well-established state government medical college and has started offering PG seats in various departments. The college is affiliated with HNB Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), which handles all state counselling and seat reservation.
Government Medical College, Haldwani, is also a reputed college offering both MBBS and PG courses. It has a good academic setup and hostel facilities. Then there is GMC Srinagar, a newer government college, which also offers PG courses and follows state PG reservation policies.
All state medical colleges in Uttarakhand reserve 50% PG seats for state quota candidates, which helps you if you are a resident or did your MBBS from there. AIIMS Rishikesh is slightly different, as it reserves PG seats internally for its own UG students.
To apply or know more, visit these official sites:
AIIMS Rishikesh: https://aiimsrishikesh.edu.in
HNBUMU (State counselling): https://hnbumu.ac.in
Doon Medical College: https://gdmcuk.com
GMC Haldwani: http://gmchld.org
To apply for MBBS through your NEET score, you need to register for counselling under both the All India Quota and your state quota. For All India Quota, you can apply through the MCC portal, and for your home state, you need to register on the state counselling portal when it opens. You’ll need documents like your NEET result, category certificate, 10th and 12th marksheets, photo ID, and passport-sized photos.
Government medical colleges usually have high cutoffs, so getting a seat depends heavily on your category and score. If your score isn’t high enough for a government seat, you can still apply to private medical colleges or deemed universities, though the fees will be much higher. You can also explore management quota or NRI quota seats if needed. Once counselling starts, fill in as many realistic choices as possible to improve your chances.
Yes you are eligible to participate in phase 3 of NEET MBBS counselling in Andra Pradesh, even if you were alloted a seat earlier.

Andra pradesh neet counselling website : drntr.uhsap.in (http://drntr.uhsap.in)
