Im from Telangana. how can I get mbbs seat in this college for free basis

Kishan Bhakat 21st Jun, 2025

hi,

you are from Telangana and want to get an MBBS seat on free basis, you need to get admission in a government medical college through state quota. For that, your NEET score must be good enough to meet the cutoff for Telangana state counselling.  SC, ST, BC, or EWS category, you will get reservation benefits, and your cutoff will be a little lower than the general category.

If I got 775789 AIR and 91274 rank in sc category can I get mbbs medical Colleges in odisha for sc category cutoff neet UG

gopi 21st Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

By achieving All India Rank (AIR) 775789 with SC category rank 91274 in NEET UG, it is difficult to find a spot in MBBS government medical colleges in Odisha under the SC category state quota. In the recent past, SC category cutoff ranks for MBBS in Odisha government medical colleges have been below 60,000 AIR and significantly below 10,000 SC rank. However, you can consider:

  • Private medical colleges under SC quota (fee is more).
  • Management / NRI quota seats (expensive but possible).
  • BDS, BHMS, BAMS or paramedical courses as an alternative.

My score is 303 in neet 2025, Kerala native. Please suggest the private MBBS and BDS college chances

SHUBHANGI SINHA 23rd Jun, 2025

Hello,

Being from K to secure a Kerala and having a NEET 2025 score of 303 makes it extremely difficult to secure an MBBS seat in a government college because of high cutoffs. Private medical college and dentistry colleges do offer opportunities, nevertheless, particularly with regard to management and NRI quotas.

Private colleges:

  • Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi
  • MES Medical College, Perinthalmanna
  • KMCT Medical College, Kozhikode
  • Malabar Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram

You can also explore outside the Kerala like Bharati Vidyapeeth (Pune), SRM Medical college (Chennai) etc. through NRI/management quota.

BDS

A 303 score greatly increases your chances of getting a BDS at private dental colleges. Numerous private dental colleges in Kerala like:

  • Royal Dental College, Palakkad
  • Annoor Dental College, Muvattupuzha

Reister in KEAM counselling for state quota seats in private colleges. Also keep an eye on BDS counselling.

I am a sc girl from Andhra Pradesh I got 344 marks in NEET 2025 and 330033 is my all india rank I am from giddalur prakasam district under AU region and my category rank is 29000 Please suggest me that i can get a MBBS seat in any government college of Andhra Pradesh and telangana or not.

Abhilasha Agrawal 16th Jul, 2025

With a NEET 2025 score of 344 and SC category, you have a good chance of getting an MBBS seat in government colleges in Andhra Pradesh, especially in Round 2 or Mop-Up. You’re also very likely to get a seat in private medical colleges under the government quota with lower fees. Telangana MBBS admission is unlikely unless you have local status there. Register for AP state counselling and participate in all rounds.

Mbbs fee structure 2025 for girls

SEJAL JAIN 21st Jun, 2025

Hello

No, the MBBS fee is the same for both boys and girls in most colleges. There is no gender-based discount in government or private MBBS colleges across India.

However, some state governments may offer scholarships or fee waivers for girls from reserved categories (like SC/ST/OBC/EWS) or rural areas, but this varies by state and scheme.

Fees may vary for the Government or private institutions.

Can you find me MBBS collge at 165 marks in neet 2025

Mansi Satwani 21st Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant,

Your score is very low compared to the score required for getting admission in medical college which is 550 to 650. If you really wish to pursue MBBS, you can try deemed universities. Or you can take a drop and appear for neet next year.

430 marks in neet 2025 belong to sc category and I am from Bihar.can I got government medical college for mbbs

SHUBHANGI SINHA 22nd Jun, 2025

Hello,

You have a reasonable chance of getting a government MBBS seat if you scored 430 on the NEET 2025 and are from Bihar and fall under the SC category.

AIQ

The typical cutoff score for SC individuals applying to government medical colleges on the AIQ is between 390 and 440. Even if 430 is within the range, getting into a top college is improbable because to the intense competition.

State Quota

The state quota cutoff may differ from the AIQ and be somewhat lower. You have higher chances of getting government MBBS seat in Bihar with 430 marks through state quota.

You will also have fair chance of getting BDS and BAMS because of their lower cutoff.

WHAT CAN YOU DO

  • Take part in BCECEB'S Bihar UGMAC counselling,
  • Sort the list of potential government collages according to your preferences.
  • Seats tend to shuffle, so pay attention to the second-round and mop up rounds.
