Neet me 2025me 187 marks hai kya mbbs private college mil jayega general category

Abhilasha Agrawal 25th Jul, 2025

With 187 marks in NEET 2025 under the General category, getting an MBBS seat in a private college is very unlikely. Cutoffs for even private MBBS seats are usually above 300. You can explore options like BAMS, BHMS, BPT, or B.Sc Nursing.

neet 2025 me 187 marks aye hai kya mbbs private college mil sakta hai

Samriddha Pal 6th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Scoring 187 marks in NEET 2025 means your likelihood of securing an MBBS seat in a government medical college is very slim, since government colleges typically demand significantly higher scores, usually over 500 marks for unreserved categories.

You might still qualify for MBBS admission in private medical colleges through the management quota or NRI quota, particularly in states with lower cut-offs and greater enrollment capacity for private institutions.

Numerous deemed universities and private medical colleges accept applicants with NEET scores between 150 and 200 for MBBS courses, although the tuition fees are considerably elevated, varying from Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 25 lakhs annually or more.

You can also consider courses such as Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, or Physiotherapy, where the cut-offs tend to be lower and admissions are easier with your score. It's recommended to engage in your state counselling and consider deemed university counselling via MCC to enhance your opportunities.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Neet 2025 me 187 marks hai kya mbbs private college mil jayega

Samriddha Pal 6th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Scoring 187 marks in NEET 2025 significantly reduces your likelihood of securing admission to an MBBS program in a government medical college, as these institutions usually demand much higher scores, frequently exceeding 500 for general category applicants and somewhat lower for reserved category students.

Nevertheless, with 187 marks, you could still secure a seat for MBBS at a private medical college, particularly under the management or NRI quota, depending on seat availability and that year's cut-off trends.

Certain private or deemed universities in India accept candidates with NEET scores ranging from 150 to 200, particularly during the later counselling rounds or if there are unfilled seats. It is essential to highlight that the fees in private colleges for management quota are substantially elevated, ranging between Rs 10 lakhs and Rs 25 lakhs annually.

You ought to engage in both state counselling and MCC (deemed university) counselling to examine all possible choices. Additionally, explore other medical options such as BAMS, BHMS, or BPT, where the cut-off tends to be lower and the potential for a healthcare career is still robust.

I scored 168 marks in neet 2025.will i get admission for MBBS in any management colleges

SHUBHANGI SINHA 2nd Jul, 2025

Hello,

It is quite improbable that an MBBS student with a NEET 2025 score of 168 would be accepted into any government or semi Government College. However, there is still a chance, although a slim one, for management quota seats in private medical colleges.

MBBS seats are available under the management quota at some private medical colleges in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra.

Keep up with the state level counselling photos and participate in mop up and stray vacancy rounds.

I scored 168 mark in neet 2026 exam will i get admission in any management mbbs college

Samriddha Pal 6th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Achieving 168 marks in NEET 2026 means your likelihood of obtaining an MBBS seat in government colleges is nearly zero, since these generally demand 450–550+ marks. You are eligible for the management quota in private and deemed medical colleges, where qualifying often begins at only 150–200 marks.

Numerous deemed universities admit applicants scoring between 150 and 200 marks, typically asking for fees ranging from Rs 20 to Rs 25 lakh annually. In a similar fashion, private universities in regions such as Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh also accept students within this score range through management or NRI quotas, with tuition fees varying from Rs 10–30 lakh per year.

Hope this helps. All the best!

i have 145 marks in neet ug so i get admission in mbbs?according to my category cutoff is 143-133

Devanshi Goyal 30th Jul, 2025

HELLO,

With 145 marks in NEET UG and your category cutoff being between 143-133 you have qualified but getting an MBBS seat in Government college is highly unlikely

Here is some important points you should know :-

1.You have cleared the NEET UG cutoff for your category which makes you eligible for counselling

2.MBBS seats in government colleges are highly competitive and even with reservation 145 marks is generally too low for MBBS admission

3.Private and deemed universities might be an option but fees are usually high

4.Consider BSD, BAMS BHMS or BSc Nursing courses where you have better chances with your score

5.Must participate in state counselling and mop up rounds sometimes vacant seats may come up
