At NEET application, by mistake we have chosen OBC NCL, and have given the minority certificate RD number. Now u am not able to rectify NEET application. Will i be able to choose General category during MBBS counselling ? How to solve this issue. Please explain.

lisa 21st Apr, 2025

Yes, it is possible to change your category from OBC-NCL to General during MBBS counseling, even if you initially applied under OBC-NCL in the NEET application. While you cannot change the category on the application itself after the correction window closes, you can typically do so during the counseling process itself, especially if you are no longer eligible for the OBC-NCL category.

Is MBBS under 15 lakhs in Russia?

Afreen 1st May, 2025

Yes, it is possible to find MBBS programs in Russia within a budget of 15 lakhs INR. Affordable tuition fees and low living costs make Russia a popular destination for Indian students seeking medical education.

Affordable Tuition:

The annual tuition fees for MBBS programs in Russia typically range from INR 3 to 4.5 lakhs. Some universities may charge slightly higher, but the overall cost is significantly lower than private medical colleges in India.

Low Cost of Living:

Russia's living expenses are also lower than in India, which helps to keep the overall cost of studying MBBS affordable.

State-Funded Universities:

Many medical universities in Russia are state-funded, which helps to keep tuition fees low.

Universities Offering Affordable Programs:

Several Russian medical universities offer MBBS programs at competitive prices, including Volgograd State Medical University and Kabardino Balkarian State Medical University.

Factors to Consider:

University Choice:

The overall cost will vary depending on the specific university, so research and compare different options.

Living Expenses:

Factor in the cost of accommodation, food, transportation, and other daily expenses.

Hidden Costs:

Be aware of any additional costs, such as visa fees, health insurance, and potential expenses for language training.

In conclusion, while the exact cost can vary, it is definitely possible to find a suitable MBBS program in Russia within a 15 lakh INR budget, especially by focusing on universities with competitive fees and considering the lower cost of living in Russia compared to India.

Neet PG 2025 application they asked to upload medical council registration certificate of mbbs qualification . But I have uploaded mbbs degree certificate. i would like to know it will accept or not. If affect means How do I correct my application.

Afreen 18th Apr, 2025

In NEET PG 2025, uploading your MBBS degree certificate instead of the medical council registration certificate is likely to cause issues, as the registration certificate is a mandatory document. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) may ask you to rectify the issue by opening a correction window, but if not, you may need to contact the NBE for assistance.

Elaboration:

Mandatory Documents:

The NEET PG application process requires specific documents, including the medical council registration certificate for MBBS qualification, as mentioned on the NEET PG application form, as well as the MBBS degree certificate.

Potential for Disqualification:

Uploading the wrong document may lead to your application being rejected or delayed due to verification problems during the counselling process.

Correction Window (If Available):

The NBE may provide a correction window to rectify errors in the application form. You should check for such a window and use it to upload the correct medical council registration certificate if it is available.

Contacting the NBE (If No Correction Window):

If a correction window is not provided or you miss the opportunity, you should contact the NBE through the official channels (phone number, email, or online form) to inquire about the possibility of making the correction. Explain the situation and ask for guidance on how to upload the correct document

Verification during Counselling:

During the NEET PG counselling process, your documents, including the medical council registration certificate, will be verified to ensure your eligibility for the program. Any discrepancies may lead to disqualification.

Is there any reservation in gujrat for girls in mbbs ?

harsh singh 12th Apr, 2025

In Gujarat, there is no specific reservation for girls in MBBS admissions. Female candidates are eligible for the same reservations as male candidates under the State Quota, which includes categories like SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, and PwD. These reservations apply to both male and female candidates.

Additionally, some medical colleges in Gujarat may offer a Single Girl Child Quota to encourage education for single girl children. This can be a potential advantage for female candidates, but it's specific to certain colleges, and eligibility may vary.

It's advisable to check the official admission guidelines of the respective colleges for detailed information on available quotas.
