in my all documents my mother name is asha and on her adhar and pancard her name is ashabai, for mbbs admission does i have to change ashabai to asha or not

harsh singh 23rd Mar, 2025

For MBBS admission, it is important that the names on your documents match to avoid any issues during the verification process. Since your mother’s name is listed as Asha on your documents and Ashabai on her Aadhaar and PAN card, this inconsistency could lead to confusion.

Best Solution :

1. To avoid future issues, it is better to correct her name on Aadhaar and PAN card to Asha so that it matches your documents.

The name on Aadhaar can be corrected easily online or by visiting an Aadhaar enrollment center.

For PAN card, you can apply for a correction through the NSDL website.

3. Affidavit Option (Temporary Solution) :

If admission is near, you can create an affidavit stating that Ashabai and Asha are the same person.

This can be used during the admission process as a temporary solution.

For admission in semi government colleges of mbbs category sc. how many marks required in all india colleges

Prachi Kumari 19th Mar, 2025

Hello,

To secure admission in semi-government medical colleges for an MBBS seat under the SC category through the All India Quota (AIQ), aiming for a NEET score between 400 and 450 is advisable. This range is based on recent trends and cutoffs .

However, cutoffs can vary each year due to factors like the number of applicants, exam difficulty, and seat availability. Therefore, it's beneficial to aim for a higher score to improve your chances of admission.

Hope it helps !

Hello aspirant,

The minimum marks required for admission to a government MBBS college under the SC category through NEET vary by state and year. Here’s a general idea based on recent trends:

  1. All India Quota (AIQ) - 15% seats

    • SC category cutoff for government MBBS colleges under AIQ usually ranges between 420–480 marks .

    • Top government colleges may require 460+ marks for SC category through AIQ.

  2. State Quota (85% seats)

    • Cutoff varies from state to state depending on competition and seat availability.

    • For states like Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, SC category cutoff for government MBBS colleges is around 380–450 marks .

    • In less competitive states, it can go as low as 350–400 marks .

      State-Wise SC Cutoff Examples (NEET 2024) :
  • Tamil Nadu – Around 400–450 marks
  • Maharashtra – Around 420–460 marks
  • Uttar Pradesh – Around 440–470 marks
  • Andhra Pradesh – Around 400–450 marks
  • Karnataka – Around 380–420 marks

To increase chances of getting a seat, aim for 450+ marks for a secure spot under the SC category in most government colleges.
