Im in a private medical college in kerala doing MBBS.I want to write neet again to get into another college. What will be the bond penalty fees?If so is there concession for sc category?

Afreen 27th Oct, 2024

If you want to leave your present MBBS college to join another college by taking NEET again, you will likely face a bond penalty fee which is near about 5 lakh to 40 lakh rupees in case of Kerala state medical college you can confirm the actual amount of penalty from college of yours.

and yes, there is usually a concession for SC category students when it comes to bond penalties in Kerala but you have to pay some money for leaving the college in between.

Think of your decision again if its not a big issue continue with same college as you get mbbs degree from here too.at the end choice is yours hope you will get what you want.

I am studying in class 11 in IGCSE board. My interest to do MBBS from India. I need to check about NEET exam. Can I get consular who can guide me.

Afreen 14th Oct, 2024

You can pursue mbbs degree after completing your 12th from IGCSE you just need to qualify NEET exam which is the entrance exam of medical colleges.dont have doubt that you need counsellor for this this is just a normal exam as all other entrance examination.if you think that CBSE students has upper hand in NEET than you are absolutely right because most questions asked from NCERT books which is included in their syllabus but that does not mean that students from other boards cannot crack the test. So,start preparing and clear your concepts as you have advantage from IGCSE syllabus introduces students to Indian college level syllabus early and secondly you also have practice of solving MCQ based paper to do well in exam.

ALL the best!!!

i got 85% marks in class 12th can i get pmsss for mbbs course

Jefferson 12th Oct, 2024

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Careers360.

To be eligible for the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) for MBBS, the primary criteria include passing Class 12th with the required percentage, which is 85% in your case. However, you will also need to qualify for the NEET exam, as PMSSS considers NEET scores for admission into medical courses. Additionally, the scheme is primarily for students from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, and you must meet the domicile requirements. It’s also important to check the financial criteria and ensure your family income does not exceed the prescribed limit.

Any possibility for me to get seat in CMC VELLORE BY CHRISTIAN mINORITY QUOTA

Prachi Kumari 11th Oct, 2024

Hello,

Securing a seat at CMC Vellore under the Christian minority quota is competitive but possible if you meet certain criteria.

You need to belong to a recognized Christian denomination and obtain a sponsorship from one of the CMC Vellore-associated churches or organizations. Sponsorship does not guarantee admission, as you must still qualify through the NEET exam and perform well in the interview and assessment process.

Prioritize strong academic performance, active church involvement, and fulfill all specific requirements set by the sponsoring body. Review CMC Vellore's admission guidelines carefully to ensure eligibility and maximize your chances.

Hope it helps !

I mean round 3 AIQ with 428 marks rank 320428, from st category. Can i get mbbs seat

monag2673 9th Oct, 2024

With a score of 428 marks and an All India Rank (AIR) of 320,428 in NEET 2024, as well as belonging to the ST category, you have a chance of securing an MBBS seat, but the possibilities will largely depend on several factors:

1. **Cut-off Ranks for ST Category**: The cut-off for ST category candidates is typically lower compared to the general category, and this provides you with a better chance of securing a seat through the All India Quota (AIQ). However, AIQ seats in government colleges are highly competitive, even for reserved categories, and your rank might be on the borderline for the more popular or well-established colleges.

2. **Rounds of Counseling**: Since you are asking about the 3rd round of AIQ counseling, this round generally fills the leftover seats from previous rounds. You might have better chances in newer government colleges, private colleges under government quotas, or in colleges with relatively lower cut-offs.

3. **State Quota**: Since the AIQ competition is tougher, it's worth also focusing on the **state quota** counseling of your home state, as state-level seats might have more lenient cut-offs for the ST category.

It is advisable to participate in both AIQ and state counseling to maximize your chances of securing an MBBS seat. Keep track of cutoff trends and counseling updates for more clarity.

hope this helps you!!

I have joined mcc round 2 mbbs seat in upums Etawah and opt for upgradation then please tell how to take documents from this college if i get any college in round 3 and when

Jefferson 7th Oct, 2024

Hello!

Thank you for reaching out to Careers360. I hope you're doing well.

Since you have joined UPUMS, Etawah for MBBS through MCC Round 2 and have opted for upgradation, if you are allotted a seat in Round 3, you will need to follow the college's procedure for document withdrawal. Usually, you will be required to visit the college and submit a request for document collection or transfer. Each institution has its own guidelines, so it would be best to contact the college administration directly to understand the specific process they follow for releasing documents in such cases.

Feel free to ask if you have any more questions or need suggestions regarding other colleges or courses.

Best regards,

which is the best place to study mbbs, srm chennai or yenepoya manglore?

Sajal Trivedi 6th Oct, 2024

Hello aspirant,

It's superior in SRM Medical College. SRM is superior rank-wise. From the perspective of a student, SRM does have advantages and disadvantages. However, I believe SRM surpasses Yenetepoya College in terms of infrastructure, teaching, student-centered core development, and patient intake—all of which are crucial for a medical student.

Thank you

Hope it helps you

2212166 is rank par MBBS ya BDS clg mil shkta hai kya addmission

Afreen 6th Oct, 2024

You can expect a Government seat in a average MBBS College when you get >650 in NEET, especially when you are in General Category with no reservation even in any medical courses like BDS BAMS BHMS so it is quite difficult for you to get colleges at this rank Try to go for other courses in private College like bpt, BSC and para medical courses which align with your future goals as I will not suggest a private college for MBBS where fee will be too hefty.

In general, you have a choice for MBBS via donation (for a govt. college if that is possible).

Good Luck

can I get mbbs college at 263276 AIR through all india quota

Afreen 5th Oct, 2024

It is unpredictable that you get medical College or not because certain that determine seat allotment for MBBS and BDS colleges include: NEET score, Seat intake, and Reservation norms and state quota.

You can use a NEET College Predictor tool to predict your chances of admission to medical institutes. The tool uses your NEET result, along with opening and closing ranks from previous years' NEET counselling data, to recommend colleges and courses.
