sir I got bams college and if I want to leave the college after 1 year for mbbs then I have to pay bond amount or not????

Afreen 10th Sep, 2024

Yes, if you get admission to a BAMS college and decide to leave after one year to pursue MBBS, you will likely have to pay a bond amount, as most BAMS colleges require students to sign a bond that stipulates a penalty if they leave the course prematurely, especially within the first few years.

Contact your BAMS college administration to confirm the exact terms of the bond,if you can pay that much amount you can go ahead and also you can negotiate amount by giving reason.

Iam an BC-d reserved candidate and an resident of telangana and had done my mbbs from AP Can I claim my local status in ap now and if I could then can I claim my bc-d status in AP now or will I be only eligible for open cat seats of AP ?

Jefferson 4th Sep, 2024

Hey there! Welcome to the Careers360 team. That's quite a specific situation you've got there - let me see if I can help break it down for you.

So, you're from Telangana, did your MBBS in AP, and now you're wondering about your status in AP, right? It's a bit of a tricky one, to be honest. The local status and reservation policies can get pretty complicated, especially when you're crossing state lines.

From what I understand, your local status in AP might be a bit dicey since you're originally from Telangana. As for the BC-D reservation, that's even trickier because each state has its own list and criteria.

Here's what I think, but take it with a grain of salt:

1. Your local status in AP: This might depend on how long you've been in AP and if you meet their residency requirements. You'd need to check the specific rules for AP.

2. BC-D status in AP: Even if you get local status, your BC-D certificate from Telangana might not directly apply in AP. Each state has its own backward classes list.

3. Open category: If neither of the above works out, you might indeed have to go for the open category seats in AP.

But listen, don't take my word as gospel. These rules can be super complex and change often. Your best bet would be to check with the AP medical education department or maybe the AP Public Service Commission. They'll have the most up-to-date info.

Also, why not chat with some of the seniors here at Careers360? They might have dealt with similar cases before and could have some insider tips. You can also have a look at our College Predictor for more details.

Let me know if you want to bounce around some ideas on how to get more concrete info on this. We could make it a little project - might be useful for other students too!

I have applied for MBBS in Maharashtra quota under OBC category (I have caste certificate) but do not have noncreamy layer certificate, am I eligible under OBC category admisssion or not?

vaibhavi bhalsod 3rd Sep, 2024

Hello

To apply for MBBS under the Maharashtra quota in the OBC category, you'll need both a caste certificate and a non-creamy layer certificate . Without the non-creamy layer certificate, you won't be eligible for OBC category admission. The non-creamy layer certificate is necessary to prove your family's income is below the limit set by the government for OBC reservations . You should obtain a non-creamy layer certificate to complete your application.

UP expected Round 2 cutoff for mbbs

Kanishka kaushikii 2nd Sep, 2024

Hello aspirant,

As of September 2, 2024, the exact cutoff for Round 2 of UP MBBS counseling is not yet available. The cutoff will depend on several factors, including:

  • Number of applicants: The more applicants, the higher the cutoff.
  • Seat availability: The number of available seats for MBBS in UP will influence the cutoff.
  • Candidate preferences: The choices made by candidates during counseling will affect the seat allotment.

To get the most accurate and up-to-date information, I recommend:

  1. Checking the official UP NEET Counseling website: The website will have the latest announcements and updates regarding the counseling process.
  2. Following educational news and forums: Websites like Shiksha, Careers360, and Medical News Today often provide updates on counseling cutoffs.
  3. Consulting with a counselor: A counselor can provide personalized advice based on your rank and preferences.

Please note that the cutoff for Round 2 is likely to be lower than Round 1 as seats that were not filled in the first round will be available in the second.

I hope this information helps you.
