iam getting nearly 465 marks in neet 2021 and i belong to ews category, can i get government mbbs seat in government medical College and hospital in gondia in my category in 2nd or 3rd round?

Aniket Das 17th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors. As you mention with 465 marks in neet and you are from ews category it is very difficult to get seat in government college. You can try for private college.

My AIR neet 2021 is 89362. can I get a mbbs seat under state quota under general merit category

Aniqa zena 7th Nov, 2021
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. It is difficult for you to get government seat for mbbs with this rank in all India quota as well as in 85% state quota . For getting government mbbs seat you need to score around 580 in state quota and 620+ in all India quota and your all India rank must be under 30000 to get government seat . This cutoff marks is in accordance with the last year cutoff.

Although getting government seat for bams depends upon various factors like number of students appeared in the exam, category, region, state, state rank, AIQ rank, etc.

For qualifying in NEET, students must have to score minimum of 50 percentile for UR and 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC category. And to get admission in the Good Private Medical college you must score at least 350 marks in NEET UG.

If you want to predict college then follow the given link:-

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

So on such marks you have very low chances to get any of the medical colleges under state quota of Andhra Pradesh with government MBBS seat as the cut-offs for them were around 500+ marks . But on such score you can go for some Deemed Institutions through AIQ counselling, so as per the previous years data you can go for following deemed institutions through AIQ counselling :-

MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai:- 380 marks

B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks

Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar:- 426 marks

SBKS Med. Inst. and Res. Centre, Sumandeep  Vadodara:- 446 marks

Yenepoya Manglaore:-436 marks

if i took admission in hitech ..then i manage to get a govt mbbs seat ..can i left the seat ?

Gayatri Gouri 8th Dec, 2021

Hello.

Yes you can leave the seat and grab the one that you prefer more. But every college has it's own different rules and policies. It's better to talk to the admission or management department of your college as soon as possible and get your doubts cleared about the process of withdrawing your admission. They might ask for valid reason with proof or some compensation money that they will cut off from your admission fee. Your main enquiry should be about the return of the original documents and the fee paid that is to be withdrawn. But it is totally possible to change college if you want. So go for it.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 7th Nov, 2021

Hi

Your profile suggest that your domicile state is Uttar Pradesh

It's quite difficult to predict because cut off  depends upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available etc

When we go through previous data then

>>>> With  517 marks,

You hold  a   low chance for an mbbs seat in a Government Medical College

For example,

in neet  2020, 606 marks  for obc category was the cut off marks  to get a seat in Govt. Medical College   under UP  state quota and it was for Autonomous State Medical College and Associated Teaching Hospital, Bahraich

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up/amp

You have chances for mbbs in private medical college under UP state quota which are listed below  :-

  • Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly:- 491 marks

  • School of Medical Sciences and Research, Greater Noida:- 448

  • Subharti Medical College, Meerut:- 416 marks

  • United Institute of Medical Sciences, Prayagraj

Respective sir, AIQ mbbs seat possible for EWS rank 5815 ?

piyush263001 7th Nov, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

It would have been helpful for us to answer precisely and provide complete details had you mentioned your marks and your All India Rank. It is very difficult to provide you with the details of college as you have mentioned only the category rank. Cut off for colleges is mostly predicted by the marks and not rank. So kindly provide your marks and All India Rank for college details .
