Karishma Sawhney 8th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant. With 141, your chances of getting a seat in private or deemed university are quite low, despite having reservation. However, you can wait till mop up round and apply in the following colleges-

1. SRM Medical College and Hospital

2. Saveetha Medical College

3. Sree Balaji Medical college and hospital

4. Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher education and research

You can also wait till stray vacancy round where you have chances to get admission in the above mentioned deemed medical college. You may want to keep visiting mcc site for updates on mop up and stray vacancy round. Hope it helps!

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

I got 343 marks in neet. Im a female with obc category in Andhra Pradesh. will I get mbbs seat?

pdwords Student Expert 9th Nov, 2021

Hello,

If we go through previous year cut-offs for OBC Category, then chances for MBBS in GMCs or government seats in private medical colleges is tough, as the cut-offs are on higher side above 500 marks, though there are possibilities for management quota in private medical colleges such as

  • Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa
  • Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences, Vijayawada

You can go through previous year state cut-offs for AP at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-ap

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • difficulty level of the paper
  • top NEET scores
  • reservation
  • seat matrix, etc..

To know more detailed information about admission possibilities in various medical colleges and its respective medical courses you may use our NEET College Predictor at https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

My neet 2021 score is 566(AIR 36010).I belong to general category from Bihar domicile. Is there any chance of getting mbbs seat either through AIQ or state Quota?

Kuheli Sanyal 2nd Nov, 2021

Hey,

Last year the cut off rank for UR under All India Quota was around 15000. So based on this, it is quite difficult for you to get a government medical college through All India Quota. You can surely can get a in deemed universities through All India Counseling for Deemed Universities.

You can get a seat in NMC SASARAM through Bihar State Counseling. To get a complete list of colleges in which you may get MBBS/BDS seat, you can use NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

Kashish Saxena 15th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

According to previous year cutoffs trend, at your score there are low chances for you to get government college for MBBS in both state, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Yes but you can get admission in private medical colleges through management quota.

However remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff.

Some private medical colleges for your consideration are as follow:

  • Apollo institute of Medical Sciences, Chittoor
  • Gayatri Vidya Parishad Institute of Medical Technology, Visakhapatnam
  • NRI Institute of Medical Sciences, Sangivalasa
  • Bhaskar Medical College, Moinabad
  • C Ananda Rao Institute of Medical Sciences, Karimnagar
  • Malla Reddy institute of Medical Sciences, Suraram, Hyderabad

i got 9300 category rank, General category from andhrapradesh where AIR is 60000 can i get mbbs seat

Kashish Saxena 26th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

As per the previous year cutoffs trend, at your score you have almost nil probability of getting admission in government medical colleges in your category under state quota even. Also there are very less chances for you to get government quota seat in private medical colleges.

However you can get admission in private dental colleges under state quota. But for MBBS you can get admission only through management quota such as:

  • Apollo institute of medical sciences, Chittoor
  • GSL Medical College, Rajahmundry
  • Katuri Medical College, Guntur
  • Alluri Sitaramaraju Academy of Medical Sciences, Eluru

But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff.

I got 429 can i get MBBS seat in telangana

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Nov, 2021

Hi

Your profile suggests that your domicile state is Telangana.

I am assuming you from general category.

It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

  • number of students that appeared in the neet examination,

  • kind of marks obtained by students  in neet ,

  • toughness level of the neet examination,

  • number of seats available etc.

But when we go through previous data then

>>>>>>> with 429 marks

You hold a low chance to get mbbs seat in Government Medical College .

For example,

in neet  2019, 502 marks for general category was the lowest marks to get mbbs seat in  government medical college   under Telangana state quota and it was for GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, NALGONDA

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-telangana

In Telangana , you have chances in management quota MBBS seats in private medical colleges like AYAAN INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

Also,

You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their neet 2020 , 2nd round cut off :--

-----------) Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar:- 426 marks

----------) B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks

----------) MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai:- 380 marks

----------) Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar:-360 marks

----------) Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur:- 328 marks

----------) BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks

And a few more

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

Thankyou
