i am getting 582marks in neet . i am belong to Maharashtra. can i get government mbbs seat in EWS category.

Divya kushwah 23rd Oct, 2021
Hello aspirant, . according to previous year cut-off under 85% state quota for EWS category,so 582 marks is good marks but it is difficult to get government seat at this marks.
However this year cut-off marks will decrease as this year NEET paper was tough then you may have chances regarding this otherwise there is possibility of private colleges through State Quota.

Usually after the results of allotment from the very next day or a day after results, reporting to college get started and usually 5-7 days of reporting are given by MCC in AIQ counseling.

Even in state counseling also you may get 3-5 days of reporting time after the declaration of allotment results.

So you must be prepared for all these things from earlier so that you can report the allotted college on time. Always try to give those college on up of list which have High chances of getting allotted and have good accessibility of transportation so that you can reach there on time.

cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile
