Sree Student Expert 9th Nov, 2021

Dear student,

It is difficult to predict because cut-off changes from year to year and depends on many factors like

>>>>> Number of seats available.

>>>>> Difficulty level of the exam.

>>>>> Number of students appeared in the exam.

>>>>> Caste Category of the students.

can i get mbbs seat in mopup round with 290 marks in neet 2021??? or should i join long term coaching???

Aniqa zena 30th Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing well. It is difficult to get government seat in 290 marks. Your score should be above 560 to get government seat for mbbs in state quota. Although getting government seat depends upon various factors like number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of exam, AIQ rank, category, region, state, state rank, etc. If you want to give one more chance to yourself and confident enough about selection in next year exam only then take a drop .

If you want to predict your rank in accordance with your marks then follow the given link:-

sir ...i am expecting around 280 marks in NEET 2021 and i am under OBC CATAGORY ...can i get mbbs seat at AJ INSTITUTE

Kuheli Sanyal 1st Oct, 2021

Hey,

Based on previous year data, with 280 marks you may get a rank between 394985-413106. You can also predict your rank using NEET Rank Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

Last year the cut off for A.J. Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore was as follows across various OBC categories through Karnataka State Counselling -

  • 1G - 65118
  • 2AG - 74970
  • 2BG - 45633
  • 3AG - 52347
  • 3BG - 48483

So based on this, it is quite difficult for you to get admission in this college. However, you can get management quota seats in deemed universities through all India counselling for deemed universities. To get a complete list of colleges in which you can get MBBS/BDS seat, you can use NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

It is important to know that the above predictions are based on previous year data. Cut offs and ranks are subject to change every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper, the performance of the students and the number of seats available.

sir i am from karnataka my score is 497 obc 2b Hyderabad karnataka reservation I have can I get government mbbs seat in karnataka

piyush263001 9th Nov, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

With Marks you are scoring you can have chances of getting seats in following colleges -

• Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore

• Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore

• M.S.Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore

• Khwaja Bande Nawaz Institute Of Medical Sciences, Gulbarga

• Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara Medical College, Mysore

• Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum
