I got 137636 rank in neet can i get mbbs seat in all India quote

Aniqa zena 7th Nov, 2021
Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. It is difficult for you to get government seat for mbbs with this rank in all India quota as well as in 85% state quota .

For getting government mbbs seat you need to score around 580 in state quota and 620+ in all India quota and your all India rank must be around 30000 for general category students. This cutoff marks is in accordance with the last year cutoff.

Although getting government seat for bams depends upon various factors like number of students appeared in the exam, category, region, state, state rank, AIQ rank, etc.

For qualifying in NEET, students must have to score minimum of 50 percentile for UR and 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC category. Or you can try for private medical college and to get admission in the Good Private Medical college you must score at least 350 marks in NEET UG.

My Neet ug score is 436 from general category . Is there any chance getting mbbs seat in sharda university ?

Priya Patel 7th Nov, 2021

Hey,

The minimum cut off for MBBS in Sharda University for unreserved category student was just 50 percentile ( 119 marks),so that makes you already eligible for the counseling in that college. Although it will definitely depend on the rank which you will get on the basis of your marks scored in NEET 2021. If seats remain vacant till your rank you will definitely be considered and will be allotted the seat .

To predict your chances of getting the college i will suggest you to use our college predictor. I have attached the link below,

I get 19525 can I get MBBS seat in govt medical college in Karnataka or TN or Maharashtra. in general cat.

pdwords Student Expert 7th Nov, 2021

Hello,

If we go by last year AIQ cut-offs then chances for GMC for UR with AIR 19525 seem tough, the reason being the cut-offs are on higher side, though there are good possibilities for government dental colleges such as

  • Patna Dental College and Hospital, Patna
  • Government Dental College and Hospital, Medical College Campus, Aurangabad
  • Dr R Ahmed Dental College and Hospital, Kolkata
  • Government Dental College, Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, etc...

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

total number of candidates appearing for the exam

difficulty level of the paper

top NEET scores

reservation

seat matrix, etc..

You can go through previous year AIQ cut-offs for at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges

To know more detailed information about admission possibilities in various medical colleges and its respective medical courses you may use our NEET College Predictor at https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

i have scored 427 marks with all india rank 158739 ..can i get govt.mbbs seat in any state through all india quota in st category?

piyush263001 7th Nov, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

With your score, it would be very difficult to get MBBS in Government Medical colleges in India through All India Quota. Though you can try deemed universities. Here is a list of few deemed Universities-

• GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Visakhapatnam- 197 Marks

•BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks

• Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospt., Puducherry:- 192 marks

•Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai:- 189 marks

• Shri Satya Sai Medical College and RI, Kancheepuram:- 173 marks

• Meenakshi Medical College Host. and Res. Inst., Chenna:- 169 marks

• Saveetha Medical College, Chennai:- 265 marks

• Dr. DYP Edu. Soc. Deemed Uni., Kolhapur:- 262 marks

• Vinayaka Missions Medical College and Hospital, Karaikal:- 257 marks

• Krishna Institute of Medical Sc., Karad:- 253 marks
