Hello!
Not every university conducts interview for admission into MCA. In some universities, admission is on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance test.
But there are universities like Delhi University which takes interview for the prospective candidates. The questions asked during the interview are basic concepts which one has studied in BCA. Questions are basically from mathematics and computer applications.
These are some of the books you can refer to for MCA entrance exam and interview-
Hope this information will help you.

After BCA you can take confirmation in the MCA course. The length of the MCA course is long-term. MCA is a long-term post-graduate course. you can apply for the MCA selection test if you have Maths in 12th. If you have done your BCA, doubtlessly you can seek after MCA as a standard up-and-comer. Yet, you should have a valid justification for the whole year. For your situation, it is 10 years which is quite a while. I would recommend you to have a go at upgrading your abilities instead of simply getting degrees.
Hello
Since the majority of the MCA Entrance Tests include questions on math, statistics, and computer skills, one should ideally be proficient in higher mathematics. Additional tests on certain institutes' test syllabi include Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning, and General Knowledge.
Study the following subjects thoroughly:
Hello,
I assume you mean +2 or 12th grade when you mention "inter." You can study for the MCA, of course, but you can only enroll in the MCA after earning a bachelor's degree with mathematics as a major.
According to AICTE, candidates must have completed a BCA, BSc, BCom, or BA degree with mathematics as one of the topics at the 10+2 level or at graduation in order to enrolL in an MCA course.
Thank You
Hello Uday
DTE, Maharashtra conducts the MAH MCA CET, a state-level entrance examination, each year.
In order to be admitted, general category candidates must receive at least 50% of the possible points in the MAH MCA CET 2021 entrance test, while ST/SC candidates must receive at least 40% of the possible points.
See you may not be eligible for the MSc in Data Science course in most of the colleges, because in most of the institutes, the eligibility criteria suggest that the student must have done BSc in Computer Science, BCA, Physics with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the electives. So you aren't eligible for the MSc Data Science course in most of the institute.
Now in case of MCA, the student need to have done graduation in any stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject (this is in general the eligibility criteria for most colleges, although some institutes may mention specific subject combinations as eligible streams). So if you have Mathematics in your graduation, then you are eligible for MCA.
