Is Mbbs Attempt certificate mandatory for getting admission in MD/MS courses? and is that possible that without this certificate our admission to alloted seat will get cancel?

Piyush 18th Jun, 2022

hello aspirant,

A candidate becomes eligible for MD/MS courses only after successfully completing a MBBS degree . Some countries consider a MD degree a professional doctorate for surgeons and physicians (i.e U.S.A and, Phillipines). Others, consider it a research degree equal in value to a Ph.

Furthermore, NEET PG is mandatory for admission to MD/MS/PG courses.

Further, to know more about the NEET PG Exam, all complete details you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://medicine.careers360.com/exams/neet-pg

I hope that this will help.

my air is 3309 can I get radio or derma in Bihar through aiq my category is general? though some people are saying yes but when I see last year allotment list of round 1 & 2 am not seeing anyone alloted MD radio or derma at this rank please help me out

Piyush kesarwani 17th Jun, 2022

Hello aspirant,

See, it is actually very difficult to predict precisely and accurately the Cutoff rank for MD Radiology or dermatology. This is because the NEET PG Cutoff varies every year and it depends on various factors. the previous year NEET PG Cutoff may say differently and this year NEET PG Cutoff may say Differently.

Therefore, looking at the previous year NEET PG cutoff you will get MD radio and derma as  GENERAL Category

THE NEET PG Cutoff marks and percentile score for various category students is mentioned below :

GENERAL >------------------- 50th Percentile >---------------- 275 Marks

SC/ST/OBC >------------------ 40th Percentile >---------------- 245 Marks

GENERAL -PH ------------------ 45th Percentile >---------------- 260 Marks

SC/ST/OBC - PH ------------------------ 40th Percentile >---------------- 245 Marks

The NEET PG Cutoff varies for every year and is different for different category student. The NEET PG Cutoff depends on various factors like :

Number of candidates appearing for the test

The difficulty level of the exam

Seat availability

Further, to know more about the NEET PG Cutoff you can follow the below mentioned link to know more about it in detail : https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-pg-cut-off

my rank is 39184, whats the chances for MD or DNB emergency medicine

Pallavi 16th Jun, 2022

Hello aspirant,

As per your rank and previous year cutoff, in AIQ under General Category even if there is extended shift Clinical masters may not go beyond 17,000 or max 20,000.

DNB too :- GEN category - Anaesthesia closed at rank 22,000 while Radiotherapy closed at around 23500. Even that may not reach rank 35k.

State level counseling - depends on state, service /inservice and category.

Deemed should be possible.

neet pg rank 45k+ ,is there any possibility of gen.medicine (MD/DNB) anywhere??

Subhalaxmi Biswal 21st Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category, I am assuming it to be General and answering your question. With your rank and prior year's cut off trend, you may get mostly private and deemed universities. You may get MD General Medicine from two colleges-

  1. Aarupadai Veedu Medical College, Pondicherry
  2. Balaji Medical College, Chennai.

You will have to wait till last round of counseling for this. With your score it is difficult to get DNB General Medicine. But you can get other non-clinical branches like Social and Preventive Medicine, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, or Physiology.

You can predict the chances of getting a college here
