My rank is around 175600 in neet pg2025, is there any chance to get MD pharmacology in any government medical college in uttar Pradesh

Rahul Mandal 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello,

With a rank of 175600 in NEET PG, it's very unlikely that you are getting any seat at government colleges for the MD Pharmacology in Uttar Pradesh. With these higher ranks, you are not getting the government colleges, but you can check cutoffs for these branches in the official NEET PG cutoffs.

I hope it will clear your query!!

is stipend for non clinical and clinical md seats is same for central institute of ayurveda

Afreen 23rd Aug, 2025

For central institutes of Ayurveda, the stipend for both non-clinical and clinical MD seats is the same as the stipend is standardized for all postgraduate MD/MS scholars. So if you are from any branch it makes no difference in the amount you get.

Hope it is clear!!

my air neet pg 22461 can iget MD obg in govt college iam oc ews ts

Nikita shahi 23rd Aug, 2025

Hi,

With 22,461 rank in NEET PG (AIQ), getting MD Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG) in a government medical college is quite difficult because OBG is one of the most competitive clinical branches. In All India Quota, OBG in government colleges usually closes under 5,000–12,000 rank.

In Telangana State Quota, EWS category may give a little relaxation, but still under 15,000–18,000 rank for OBG in govt colleges.

Nikita shahi 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello,

Dermatology is one of the most competitive PG branches and usually closes at ranks below 10k, so with 87,790 it may not be possible. But you still have good chances in diploma or other PG specialties.

my rank is 4622 , can i get md medicine from aiq or from state quota of maharashtra and which colleges will be best for me . Also is DNB medicine a good option for my rank??

Abhilasha Agrawal 22nd Aug, 2025

With a rank of 4622, getting MD Medicine through AIQ is very difficult as closing ranks are much lower. Under Maharashtra State Quota, you have a borderline chance in government colleges and a good chance in private colleges, since the cutoff has gone up to ~20,000. If you are flexible, you can definitely secure a seat in semi-government/private medical colleges. DNB Medicine is an excellent option too—widely available, equivalent to MD, and feasible at your rank. Keep both state quota MD and DNB Medicine in your preference list for best chances.

Private medical college for MD

Nikita shahi 22nd Aug, 2025

Hello!

Private medical colleges across India do offer MD seats, but admission is strictly through NEET PG counseling. You need to qualify NEET PG, then depending on your rank, you can apply for private colleges via state or deemed university counseling. The fees in private colleges are usually higher (can range from 15–50 lakhs depending on specialization and state).
