Mechanical Engineer
Hello Student
Lateral entry student is one who takes the direct entry through a screening test in the second year of BTech courses which is of four years. Eligibility for appearing lateral entry screening test is that candidate has to secure 50% marks in 12th science with physics, chemistry, mathematics and have the respective diploma courses with 50% marks or he or she has a degree of Bsc with at least 50% marks for appearing in this lateral entry screening test to take admission in BTech 4 year courses. A student holding 3 years diploma course has taken admission in lateral entry of any B tech courses then he or she can change of all courses which candidate has done in the diploma courses.
Hope this helps
Dear candidate there are chances to change your stream from B.Tech one to a different stream in M.Tech through GATE Examination. When you appear for GATE then you have to crack it with a good rank followed by changing your stream to IT during Application. If you crack the exam, you would get a chance to do M.Tech in IT in any renowned college or University and pursue your future plans. Prepare well for the exam and go for the branch you like,
Good luck!!
Hi, the query that you have mentioned is unclear as to what your doubt is. Do you wish to do your masters in mechanical engineering or do you wish to pursue your bachelors degree in mechanical. For your bachelors degree you can give your state level CET for getting into colleges in your state or JEE for getting into any college in the country. The dates vary according to your exam that you choose. For masters you will have to give GATE exam. The exam dates for GATE are February 5, 6, 12 and 13. If you still have doubts feel free to comment. Hope this helps.
Hello,
I hope you are doing fine, If you have desire and will to achieve something and can get that thing for sure. Since you mentioned that you have been a mechanical engineer and even have much experience in that field so i would suggest you to look forward in your filed because you will be switching your stream from mechanical to software industry and it would mean that you will have to start from the scratch. But if you still want to come in the software industry then you can still go for it. There are many institutions that provide the courses that would help you to get familiar with the software industry. They would teach you the programming languages and would help you to get started in the Software Industry. they will also help you to get a job in the Industry. So first and foremast thing is that you should join such institutions and start your course ASAP.
Well about the SAP course
The only benefit of SAP course is that you will have a rough idea of the module that you are going to work into. That's it. Because real time scenarios are much different from what one can learn just from an SAP Training. But it is definitely going to help you if you are starting your career in SAP
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck
Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.
With your rank and category it's quite difficult to get a seat which depends in which college you want to take admission, their cutoff rank, number of students before your rank applied for that particular institute. Well there's many of you private instutues in which you will get a seat. Hope this will help you.
ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!
See from the perspective of engineering, I would say you must have a good laptop with SSD and graphics card as in Mechanical Engineering there are simulation and designing of mechanical systems which when run in low space devices usually crash or it don't work efficiently. The systems hangs a lot. So if you have the money to buy a good device then you should try to get a laptop with a good HDD and SSD support and if possible get a graphics card. This will help you to enhance your experience of doing 3-D designs and simulations. Also you should try to get i5 or i7 processor if possible and obviously as per your budget.
Ipad will not be that much useful until and unless you need to make digital notes and read pdf's etc. But having a efficient laptop is always important.

Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing great there . I regret to say this but with this percentile chances of getting a seat in pdpu at 60 percentile is not possible . Your predicted CRL rank lies somewhere around 409200 - 460000 .
