I am a general ews category student. Up to what rank I can get DTU, DU or JMI for civil engineering or mechanical engineering.

Akansha Sharma 9th Nov, 2024

For Civil Engineering at DTU, General EWS category students usually need a JEE Main rank below around 30,000. For DU, the cutoff ranks vary by college within the university, but a rank within the top 40,000 may be competitive. For JMI, a JEE Main rank around 60,000-70,000 could still offer a chance, as it has slightly higher cutoffs than DTU and DU. However, cutoffs can fluctuate each year.

i have got nit surathkal(mechanical) and rv (cs) which to choose

Akansha Sharma 16th Nov, 2024

Choosing between NIT Surathkal (Mechanical) and RV College of Engineering (CS) depends on your interests and career goals. If you’re passionate about coding, software development, or IT roles, RV’s CS program offers better placement opportunities in the tech industry. On the other hand, NIT Surathkal has a strong reputation, excellent infrastructure, and opportunities in Mechanical Engineering, but placements in core mechanical roles can be more competitive. Evaluate your interests and long-term goals to make the best decision.

i got 82marks in ts ecet 2024 mechanical branch what is my rank

Akansha Sharma 6th Nov, 2024

With 82 marks in TS ECET 2024 for Mechanical, predicting an exact rank is challenging since ranks depend on factors like the overall performance of other candidates and the difficulty level of the exam. However, based on previous trends, an 82 might place you somewhere in the mid-range, possibly around 5,000 to 10,000. To get a more precise idea, check official rank announcements or use rank predictors if available for TS ECET 2024.

i have a 78k rank in viteee and i would like to do aerospace engineering or second mechanical engineering should I pay the councelling fees? please respond

Akansha Sharma 15th Dec, 2024

With a 78k rank in VITEEE, it may be challenging to secure admission directly into Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering at VIT. However, it’s still worth paying the counseling fees if you’re interested in exploring other options or branches within your reach. During counseling, you may be offered alternative streams or the chance to participate in subsequent rounds, which could give you better opportunities. Always keep an eye on the cutoff trends and available options at the time of counseling.

I scored 96.42 percentile in jee mains 2024 and my obc ncl rank is 16443, can I get mechanical engineering in NIT TRICHY?

Akansha Sharma 6th Nov, 2024

With a 96.42 percentile and an OBC-NCL rank of 16,443 in JEE Mains 2024, you have a fair chance of securing Mechanical Engineering in good NITs or state engineering colleges, though top NITs might be competitive. Keep an eye on the counseling rounds, as seat availability and cutoffs can vary. You may have a higher chance in newer NITs or state-level institutes, where cutoffs might align better with your rank.
