This facility will help the engineer to work in the electronic part of mechanical devices, as the electronic engineer will not have the appropriate mechanical considerations when deciding and designing the electronics of a mechanical device.

Robotics is a part of Mechatronics. This is because Mechatronics involves mechanical, electronics and computer engineering fields. The main difference is in inputs. In Mechatronics, inputs are provided and in Robotics the robotic systems acquire inputs. So it cannot be said that Mechatronics and Robotics are the same.
