Sir , I have 608 marks & 16368 air.cat.is Obc (ncl) with maha. domicile , can I get mbbs med colleges in maharashtra?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 18th Oct, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not as cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 608 marks being from obc,  you hold very good chance to get a seat in Government Medical College.

For example,

in neet 2019,   521 marks  for obc category got a seat in Government Medical College Jalgaon under Maharashtra state quota

You also have chances in following Government Medical College under Maharashtra state quota:-

*Government Medical College, Aurangabad
*Government Medical College, Akola
*Government Medical College, Miraj

And a few more

To get the list of colleges in which you have chances , you can go through our college predictor at

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with a rank of 1.76 lakh you hold a low chance to get seat in GOVERNMENT DOON MEDICAL COLLEGE, DEHRADUN

For example,

In neet 2019,the highest rank that got a seat in GOVERNMENT DOON MEDICAL COLLEGE, DEHRADUN for SC category was 175570 rank i. e around 1.75 lakh

With your marks you have good chances for govt quota seats   in private medical college and deemed universities

Hello aspirant

As you might have an idea that this year cut off gone rise 30-40 marks above then previous year as topper Mark is itself 19 marks above then previous year. There are very high probability that you will sucessfully grab a seat in your category through STATE QUOTA counseling. Last year cutoff for sc in uk was

•GOVERNMENT DOON MEDICAL COLLEGE, DEHRADUN-358marks

•GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE, HALDWANI- 377 marks

Check the list of colleges which you can get at your marks through our college predictor link below

my EWS rank is 57024 should i get govt med college

Palak kumari 17th Oct, 2020

Hey anjali,

As we all know that cutoffs of colleges vary every year on the basis of few factors like no. Of students appeared for the neet exam, difficulty level of the paper, no. Of seats available etc. So, keeping these points in mind and considering your mentioned rank I guess you may have chances of getting some of the govt medical colleges. For a better idea please visit the link mentioned below:-

Also you can use our college predictor tool-

Hey dear student!

If you gave a entrance exam of CUCET then you have chance of getting admission in haryana university and cutoff vary between 45-50 Marks as best of my knowledge and if you belongs to any category rather than general then yes, definitely you will get a chance. And go for counselling.

All the best.

I have 408 marks in 12th med. and category rba could I get a good college under pmsss for bsc nursing?and also my rank in merit list is 4899-sbec .

Srushti Chipde 8th Nov, 2020

Dear aspirant,

Neet is not compulsory for BSc nursing. To get a seat in BSc nursing you have to qualify a seperate entrance exam for the same (variable with colleges and state. Otherwise you can look for colleges that give merit based admission without entrance exams. Other than that you have to score 50% or above in your plus two to be eligible.

My AIR is 6493, General, Delhi domicile in NEET 2020. I got NSCB Med College Jabalpur in MCC Round 1. Can I get a delhi govt medical college in MCC Round 2

Ayush Pandey 23rd Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant!

It is very unlikely to get a govt medical college in Delhi with your rank even in second round as cut offs are extremely high due to high competition. I suggest you to hold on to your seat in NSCBMC or give for second round counselling of AIQ.

Thank you.

can u tell my rank for govt med college chandigarh with 580 marks gen cat state quota...can i hope for admission here for mbbs

Anurag Khanna 13th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your home state so considering it as Punjab according to your profile.

According to the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 13064-16008, you can check out marks Vs ranks from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

So on such marks and category you have good chances of getting GMCs in Punjab according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the lowest cut-off marks was 518 for Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot under Home state quota for General category. So you can get some other GMCs of Punjab like :-

  • GMC Amritsar
  • GMC Patiala

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-punjab

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

If I didnt clear AIQ cutoff . Then can I able to take admission in other states med collefe? I belong to obc category and from Haryana.

iammohdshareef 11th Oct, 2020

First please check the list of colleges you can get using our College predictor: : https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer All India Counselling and State Counselling are different. You can participate in both the Counsellings. If you do not get a seat in All India Counselling, you cannot apply for Other State Counsellings for Government Medical College seats. You can apply for such seats only through 15% All India Quota. The remaining 85% seats are for State Candidates. So if you want to participate in other State Counsellings, it will be only for Management Quota of Private Medical Colleges of other States.
