My expected score in neet 2020 is 362. Can I get admission in any of the medical colleges in Bangalore through all India quota(15%) seats

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 16th Sep, 2020

You haven't mentioned your Category. This is important because every Category has different cut offs. With a score of 362, your rank might be approximately between 168240-180534 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . Now regarding the Colleges that you may have a shot at, 362 is a lesser score for a seat under All India Quota, If you belong to Reserved Categories, you may have a chance at Management Quota in Deemed Universities. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. if my score is 450 in NEET 2020 can i get BMCRI or MMCRI or KIMS(hubli) govt med. colleges in karnataka through karnataka state quota and rural SC category.. plz tell me

Sharon Rose Student Expert 8th May, 2020

Hello,

If you score the minimum cut off marks specified by the college you may have decent chances of getting seat in that particular college.Take look at the previous year cut off marks and rank respectively for SC category in the colleges which you have asked

  • KIIMS, Hubli: 435, 95930
  • MCMRI: 436, 95001
  • BMCRI: 435, 96388

Considering this you may have decent chances of getting seat with 450 marks but cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available etc, it may increase or decrease slightly.

You may try our NEET knockout program

minimum marks needed to be scored in NEET 2020under Karnataka state quota,SC category, rural student to get BMCRI

Rahul 6th Jan, 2020

Now since you are opting under 15% All India Quota, it is alot more difficult to obtain a seat. However, it is not impossible. Based on last year's rank list (2017) released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority , you will have to come within the top 500 which corresponds to a score of 580+ this year you can check last year BMCRI Cut Off here..

Government medical college Kollam or Esic medical college Bangalore. Which is good?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 16th Aug, 2019
Hello,

ESIC medical colleges are just like other medical colleges. It is under the ministry of labor, Govt of India. There are 68 colleges all over India run by ESI.
ESIC stands for Employees State Insurance Corporation. These colleges are centrally governed medical colleges with good infrastructure and bright future. The difference between other govt. medical colleges & Esic medical colleges are :
In every ESIC  medical colleges, there is reservation forward of Insured person (who are under Esic scheme)
The hospital attached with the college is not open for common public, it is only for an Insured person.
The fees of the college are also like other govt colleges.
So, you can choose any of then according to your choice.

I hope this helps.
