Im scoring 200+ marks in neet 2022. I have no interest in taking long-term. so what are the other best medical courses than mbbs that I can do in India ??

Sanjana 20th Jul, 2022

Hey aspirant

For the above mark you attained minimum cut off mark. You can apply in private colleges for mbbs bds bams bhms courses. No Chances for getting admission in government colleges but there is a slight chance of getting admission in private bams, bhms unani sidha veterinary college . Or you could go for other paramedical courses like physiotherapy, optometry, B. Pharm,  ect. These are not based on neet rank. They are based on merit or based on other entrance exams. In some states admission for agriculture courses are based on neet exam.

course duration of medical courses

thakurvishesh1 25th Jun, 2022

The course duration of the normal medical course (MBBS) is usually of five and a half (5.5) years. In the first four and half years, you will be taught all the theoretical and the practical intricacies that you'll be needing when you finally become a doctor. And in the fifth year, you'll be required to complete an internship, in which you'll be attending to the patients under the college which you are attending. One more thing, the 2nd year of the MBBS course is actually of 1.5 years, that is the reason of 5.5 years and not 5.

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

can I go for medical courses like MBBS, veterinary, pharmacy, bsc nursing etc if physics is my additional subject with biology, chemistry and nutrition as main three subjects in 12th ???

Sohamsengupta8 24th Mar, 2022

Hello Student

For appearing in NEET UG exam for MBBS and BDS and Auysh courses admission in different medical colleges for MBBS BDSM Ayush subjects candidate has to secure at least 50% marks in 12 science with physics chemistry, biology and English. Chemistry biology is a course subject of NEET UG exam eligibility criteria. Your combination of the subjects in 12th class science is not applicable for Neet UG exam. This subjects with this  like chemistry biology and nutrition and with additional subject physics is not matching with the eligibility criteria for BVsc course also. There is no scope for taking admission with the subjects in BSC nursing also.

Hope this helps.
