Hello can I get any medical seats near Mumbai if Im getting 438 marks in 2022 neet ug I have a domicile of maharashtra

Aditya 18th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Considering your marks of 438 out of 720 and if you belong to General Category, there is no chance for you to get any Government MBBS seat in Maharashtra or across India.

If you want to study BDS or BAMS or BHMS or BPT, there are many colleges in Mumbai and across Maharashtra for the same. But if you want to study only MBBS from Mumbai, then you have to go for Private Medical Colleges of Mumbai. Fees for these Private Medical Colleges ranges from 25 to 50 Lakhs per Year .

Here is the list of Top Private MBBS Colleges in Mumbai :-

  1. Dr. DY Patil University - Navi Mumbai
  2. KJ Somaiya Medical College - Mumbai
  3. Terna Medical College - Nerul
  4. MGM Medical College - Navi Mumbai

Suppose I give NEET and got around 550 marks. I registered myself on MCC for MBBS. I then got to know that cutoff for medical seats are higher than the marks I got. So, can I change and get a BDS seat that year only? (Category-> GN-UR)

Anurag Khanna 18th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See you cannot change the option amid counselling but you can change it while registering for any specific round of NEET UG AIQ counselling. hi my name is veeresh patil my obc rank in neet 2021 in 125000 can i expect medical seats or medical seats in private college

Kashish Saxena 9th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

On the basis of previous year cutoffs trend, at your rankn it is very difficult to get government seat for either MBBS or BDS in your category in Karnataka. However you can admission in private medical and dental colleges. Some colleges for consideration are:

  • BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences, Banglore
  • Shamanur Shivashankar appa Institute of Medical Sciences, Devangere
  • Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Kalaburgi

You can also try for other states private medical colleges and deemed universities. But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. For more college options at your score you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool too:
