There are a total of 41,388 government MBBS seats through NEET as the data given by Medical council of India on 25th November, 2019, MBBS seats in government medical colleges are divided into two parts: AIQ and State Quota, 15% seats are reserved for All India Quota (AIQ) for every MBBS government college in India, its counselling is conducted by Medical Counselling committee (MCC), 85% seats are reserved for state Quota and are alloted to domicile candidates of the particular state which is subjected to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
