It is not mentioned anywhere that it is mandatory to pass Urdu in Class 12th or have a certificate of passing Urdu, to take admission into BUMS courses. However, who jad Urdu in their class 12th or are proficient in that language are given preference during admissions.

PCMB has more syllabus actually you have to study mathematics and biology both and so people consider it to be tough and many students fail the exam just because they can't complete the syllabus. But if you like both biology and mathematics then you will not face any problem and you will have options open for medical and engineering both or any other field you want to join.
