What are the subjects we get in bio tech?

Ritik nakra Student Expert 22nd Aug, 2019

Hey Sai! Biotechnology draws on the pure biological sciences (genetics, microbiology, animal cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry, embryology, cell biology) and in many instances it is also dependent on knowledge and methods from outside the sphere of biology (chemical engineering, bio-process engineering). All these topics are wrapped up to form its active syllabus. Hope this may help you.

snehasinha1718 Student Expert 22nd Aug, 2019

Hey,

BNYS stands for Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences. It is a Bachelor’s Degree course related to Naturopathy, Yoga and other allied domains.
BNYS graduates have access to diverse job opportunities. They have access to both Government and Private sector jobs.

Here are some of the prime recruiters –

Naturopathy Clinics
Yoga Therapy Centers
Yoga Centers
Rehabilitation Centers
Ayurvedic Clinics

Predicting the starting salary of a BNYS graduate is a difficult task. Because it depends upon factors such as –

Profile of the employer
Institute from which one has pursued the course
Job location
Academic qualification of the applicant (UG/PG)

On an average, starting salary could be anywhere between 30-50K INR. In case of a Government job, the salary will be based on the pay scale and grade.

Hope this helps.

Scholarship for b pharm student

Era Madaria 23rd Aug, 2019
Hi Student

for scholarship you will have to check with the university. Normally scholarships depend upon the academic record and also each university has different criterias for granting scholarships.

You can look at Apex Life Scholarship. THE APEX LIFE SCHOLARSHIP is for Higher Studies in India/Abroad. The amount varies between Rs. 500/- to Rs. 3500/- monthly (studies in India); Rs. 1 lac to Rs. 5 lacs (for abroad studies). The eligibility is H.Sc, SSC, Undergraduates, Postgraduates, students of Professional Courses. The contact address for the co-ordinator is APEX Life International, No. 250, First Floor, Sant Nagar, East of Kailash, New Delhi - 110065.

There are some private organisations offering scholarships to students for education. Some of them include :
  • J.N. Tata Endowment,
  • .C. Mahindra EducationTrust,
  • Sahu Jain Trust,
  • Birla Education Trust,
  • Aga KhanEducation Service(India) Mahalaxmi Education Trust, Bombay

Other Organisations offering Gift Scholarships include:
  • N.M. Wadia Charities,
  • Bombay, Sir Ratan Tata Trust,
  • Bombay Tatachem Golden Jubilee Foundation, Bombay,
  • I.T.C. Limited (Scholarship) Calcutta.

Do try to contact these organisations for eligibility criterea. You should also consider the option of taking a student loan if nothing else works out. Taking a loan is usually an easier and more feasible option. Many banks offer education loans and loans below 4 lakhs require no collateral. You can also check with your institute as well as the state governement for scholarship options.

Best Wishes
