How do I get admission in colleges like dmch Ludhiana (which have fees 1-7lakh) if I am not from Punjab? is management seat quota my only option for private medical colleges of which I dont have a domicile? I am a general category student and have a projected score of 540-560 in my mock test...

Ankit Dahiya Student Expert 10th Apr, 2020
Hello,
Private Medical Colleges do not take part in All India Counselling, they only participate in state medical counselling.
The eligiblity criteria for Punjab medical counselling is that the candidate must have domicile of Punjab. So you can not participate in its state counselling.
So your only option is to opt for management quota seats in private colleges, contact the college directly for these seats but fees would be  very high for it.

i got 60% in jee mains cut off can i get any nit?

manisha.gupta 21st Jan, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

It's difficult to tell you the exact about the qualifying cutoff & admission possibilities. But chances seems less to get NITs, IIITs & GFTIs with this percentile.

You can go for state level counselling like Punjab, Haryana Etc. I would also suggest you to appear for JEE Main 2020 April Session again.

You may calculate your expected rank by this formula

100 - your total percentile score is the percentage  of people ahead of you. 874469 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100. If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100

Using the formula

(100 - your total score) X 869010 /100

Your probable rank will be 3,47,604.

You can also check your other admission possibilities in state level counselling to go through with the given below link.

i have scored above 60 % in physics , chemistry and english but in biology i have scored only 59 % .am i eligible for aiims exam?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Sep, 2019

Dear Aarav, you haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, for being eligible for AIIMS MBBS, you should have scored a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. It is 60% for General Category and OBC and 50% for SC, ST. Going by your scores, if you have scored more than 60% in 3 subjects, scoring 59% in 1 subject doesn't disqualify you for AIIMS MBBS. Do let us know your exact marks so as to assure you of your eligibility.

What was the minimum number to secure a seat in Kolkata Medical College in 2019 neet in SC catagory?

ayanmukherjee045 29th Apr, 2021

Dear aspirant,

i would say that as 6 want a seat of kolkata medical college in 2019, so you need to apply in counseling through state and aiq. As you have sc category, so you definitely can get seats under reservation if you clear the cut off.

You need to atleast have 420+ marks from sc category to habe a chance to get in medical college of kolkata.

Getting a seat in government medical college is depending on many factors like studenrs to seat ratio, cut off, reservation, ranking of college, etc

Cut off varies evert year as per your reservation category and no. Of students applying for the same.
