gopi 16th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

If you are a 12th cleared science student from India and you want to do medicine in Japan, here is how:

  1. Select a University: Find Japanese Colleges / Universities, which offers MBBS or equivalent course (generally an MD Program).
  2. Language Requirements: Most Medical courses in Japan, education is in Japanese, so you would need to clear JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) - N2 or N1 is ideal.
  3. Entrance Exams: You will most likely need to clear the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students), and a university or individual entrance test or interview.
  4. Apply for Admission: Once you have done your shortlisting of universities, check the admission guidelines. This will be available on the official website of the universities, so you will need to confirm the deadline and admission process. You will have to submit academic documents, test scores, a copy of your passport, and a Statement of Purpose.
  5. Student Visa: After being selected, you need to submit an application for a student Visa at the Japanese embassy in India.
  6. Scholarships: You can apply for MEXT scholarship, JASSO, universities scholarships, MEXT assists and provide financial support to students.

AP STATE RANK 4348, non local candidate, what are the chances of seat for medicine in AP

Anushree Thakare 9th Jul, 2025

Hello student,

The non-local quota has been abolished, and only students domiciled in Andhra Pradesh are eligible for the 85% state quota seats.

With a state rank of 4348 as a non-local candidate in Andhra Pradesh, your chances of getting a medical seat in a government college are very low.

You might have a chance in private colleges, but it would depend on the management quota seats and the fee structure.

I would recommend you to consider exploring other states with open quotas .

Thank you!!

I got 385 in neet can I get a government mbbs college in odisha with sc category for medicine and surgery courses

lisa 30th Jun, 2025

With a NEET score of 385, getting a government MBBS seat in Odisha, particularly under the SC category, is unlikely, especially in top colleges. The expected cutoff for SC candidates in Odisha government medical colleges typically ranges from 450-470. While some lower-ranked government colleges or private colleges might be possible, it's more likely you'd need to consider private colleges or look at other options like BDS.

Bsc in nuclear medicine technology admission 2025

Shubham Jha 11th Jun, 2025

Dear student,

B.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology is a 3-year paramedical course that trains students in using radioactive materials for diagnosis and treatment, especially in imaging and cancer care. It's a mix of biology, physics, and medical imaging.

To be eligible, you must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Math , usually with at least 50% marks . Minimum age is 17 years .

Admission for 2025 is based on entrance exams or 12th marks , depending on the institute. Top colleges like AIIMS , Tata Memorial (TMH) , SGPGIMS Lucknow , Amrita , and Manipal either conduct their own entrance exams or take students through merit.

Applications generally open between March and June , with classes starting by August . If you're aiming for AIIMS or SGPGIMS, keep an eye out for their entrance exam notifications.

To apply, check each institute’s official site, prepare required documents (10th/12th marksheets, ID, photos), and make sure you register on time.

All the best

Stipend for MD medicine in nims ,hyderabad

Rajeswari 1st Jun, 2025

NIMS Hyderabad is known for its specialized training and research facilities. It often attracts a diverse patient population and offers exposure to various medical conditions. The stipend for an MD in Medicine at NIMS Hyderabad is typically around  INR 60k to INR 65k.

1st Year: INR 50,686 to INR 58,289 per month

2nd Year: INR 53,503 to INR 61,528 per month

3rd Year: INR 56,319 to INR 64,767 per month

However this is not the exact amount, these amounts are according to previous years trends. This can vary according to various factors.

  • Stipend at NIMS: As of my last knowledge update, the stipend for PG residents at NIMS is usually competitive. It is advisable to check the latest information directly from the institution as it may have changed.
  • Payment Regularity: Stipends at NIMS are generally paid regularly, but there can be occasional delays, which is not uncommon in many government institutions.

I hope this answer might help you.
