Assuming you are talking about JEE Mains , general category you can get many NIT's , you can get core branches in many top nit's and circuital branches\computer science in medium or top nit's .
Apart from that , you can get a good branch like ECE , EE , CSE , Mechanical in your home state nit . You can also get many good iiit's also so you can apply for them .

see I assume you are asking about the mbbs course fees. In india there is government and private medical colleges and in some of the private medical colleges, there is government quota where fees criteria is comparatively low to private seats. however the state wise colleges has various structures of fees , hostels, however for general quota fees is ranges from 1-3 lakhs or more. if you have any particular college in mind you may ask in comment section.

The fee structures of any college that you see online is just a college fees it doesn't include any of extra fees like stationary fee , hostels fees or anyother . This fees are decided by college which changes every year . Eventhough sometime the college's fee you had seen online or got info from any other person is not accurate it's just a normal data provided by college it would have changed by years . And if you have taken the fee structure from college most of the time college doesn't mention the hostel fee so it's better to atleast make a inquiry from them .

It also depends on the KAS post of the individual.
For example,
Assistant Commissioner Karnataka Administrative Service have KAS Salary scale 30400-51300.
Assistant Commissioner Commercial Taxes have KAS Salary scale 28100-50100.
Assistant Treasury Officer have KAS Salary scale 22800-43200.
