Pharma D course about qualifications

Dear,

The Pharm. D course is offered as a 6- year degree inclusive of five years of education and one year internship and, as a Post Baccalaureate course of three years duration. To pursue either of the courses, you should fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned below –

For 6 year Pharm. D course –You must have completed 10+2 level of education from any state/national education board. They must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics or Biology as additional subjects. They must have completed 17 years of age in the year of admission. Or Candidates holding a diploma in pharmacy are also eligible for Pharm. D course provided they fulfill all other conditions as well.

For 3-year Pharm. D course (Post Baccalaureate) –Candidates passed in Bachelor of Pharmacy course from an institute recognized under Pharmacy Council of India are eligible for Pharm. D course.You must have completed higher secondary education i.e. 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology subjects.

Hi Vedprakash,

students qualifying the entrance test of NEET PG will be called for DNB CET counselling 2020. Yes, NBE will conduct the separate DNB CET counselling based on the scores obtained in NEET PG. They will release separate merit list for dnb counselling.

Also, DNB CET counselling registration will started on May 18 to 27 ,2020. If you are eligible you need to fill application process in the given due date. DNB CET counselling registration fees of Rs. 2500 only.

Hello Aspirant!

Many institutes provide admission to Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma.) course on the basis of your Class XII aggregate percentage. Entrance exam is not compulsory for them. Some of such institutes are :-

1. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Punjab

2. Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, New Delhi

3. Madurai Medical College, Madurai

4. JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore

5. Sri Aurobindo Institute of Pharmacy, Indore

On a starting level, a fresh graduate out of college in India can expect a salary in between Rs. 4 Lac to Rs. 6 Lacs in a year. After gaining experience one can expect a higher salaries like Rs. 13 lacs per annum. The salary differs depending on the educational qualification, experience and the university from where a candidate completed their education.
