Hello chahat, you can either do BSC nautical science or BE in marine engineering or BE mechanical engineering or BE civil engineering , these are the various courses you can do , you can also apply for the entrance exam named as IMU cet by placing online application.

No, you cannot. You need to have cleared the IMU CET for joining Merchant Navy in India. IMU CET is mandatory in India for joining Btech Marine Engineering, Bsc Nautical Science and DNS ( Diploma in Nautical Science) courses in India.

A Merchant Navy or merchant marine is the fleet of merchant vessels that are registered in a specific country. You can go for IMU CET Entrance Exam conducted by Indian Maritime University for the admission to the programme Merchant Navy.

Finding IMUCET's past question papers is a very difficult task as it is an online test and therefore no copies are out for assessment and made public but there are model test papers which may be very helpful.
