I am scoring 482 marks in NEET-2019 and I belong to SC category and wish to take admission in it through AIQ. Will it be a good choice?

Thakur Megha 25th May, 2019
Hello surojit,
It's better if you try for both AIQ and state quota ,
As the Cutoff marks and ranks changes every year based on various factors , that means you may or may not get seat under AIQ,  trying for the state of your domicile should be your first priority, and then AIQ,
Try to know about various college's and their environment and teaching faculty, based on that decide where you wish to join,
You can use the tool given below for predicting the college's in which you have probability of getting seat based on your marks :-

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 20th May, 2019
Hello,

You have less chances of getting government medical college under all india quota but you do have chances of getting in state level quota. All india quota will not he possible because it requires at least 550 marks thogh It would be difficult to tell your exact chances as cutoff varies from year to year depending on various factors such as your home state, category, etc

Simran Thakur 16th Jul, 2019

Dear Reader,

Your rank is not upto the mark. But your category will support you for sure. Just participate in counselling and meanwhile check out the previous year's cut off and act accordingly. Check out other options also. Just visit the websites of the colleges you are aspiring for.

May i get marks btwn 350 to 400.can i get seat in govt.college??

Nandhini Student Expert 10th May, 2019
Hello student,
With a score of 400 in the OBC category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the Government medical colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year,  a minimum score of 473 was required to secure a seat in the Government medical college, Jalgeon in OBC category under the state quota. But scores and ranks vary each year with toughness of the exam and availability of seats. However you can predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the given link

For bc in Tamil Nadu if I score 360 will I be able to get PSG coimbatore under government quota?if not how much should I get? Please answer

Pugazhendhi Ramesh 18th Apr, 2019

Hello Naveen,

Getting 360 marks is really a good mark in NEET. Psg is good college in coimbatore and it have lot of competition. Since you are bc, it is a really tough job. NEET admoadmis criteria is based on your ranlran too. So it is difficult to say your rank without the results. So don't think of the colleges now and do well in the exam.

                              Thank you
