I am from General category and scored 549 marks in NEET 2021. Whether I would be able to secure a seat in Govt medical college in AIQ, UP state quota or MP state quota.

pdwords Student Expert 18th Nov, 2021

Hello,

If we go by last year AIQ cut-offs then chances to secure GMC seems tough especially belonging to UR Category with 549 marks, as cut-offs have been above 611 marks though you may have chances for ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga, for rest of government dental colleges through AIQ chances are tough for UR with your provided marks check out AIQ cut-offs 2020 at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • difficulty level of the paper
  • top NEET scores
  • reservation
  • seat matrix, etc..

To know more detailed information about admission possibilities in various medical colleges and its respective medical courses you may use our NEET College Predictor at https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

my result has been withheld and the reason is MP botany.. what should I need to do now? am I fail or pass?

mrinalini048 8th Oct, 2021

Hey Jyothi!

There are various reasons as to why results may be withheld. Students who have backlogs in any of their prior semesters typically have their final semester scores delayed for division. Clearing all the backlogs is a must, if a student has any. However, there might be a number of reasons for this, the most common of which is a lack of all the semesters marksheets. The final result will not be released until all marksheets are ready, in order to keep records up to date. The university also withholds results when colleges or students do not pay the examination fee. In some cases, the institution requests explanations concerning the candidates. Also, if there is a suspicion of cheating, certain students grades are withheld.

You will have to keep in touch with the college to get some sort of clarity and reasoning as to the reason for the result withheld as there are several reasons as to why the results get withhold.

I gained 254 marks with 433299 tank in neet ug and I belong to obc caste with mp domicile. which private medical colleges am I gonna get for all india quota ???and which states are more accessible}?

pdwords Student Expert 15th Nov, 2021

Hello,

It's tough to make exact predictions as cut-offs vary every year based on various factors such as

  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • difficulty level of the paper
  • top NEET scores
  • reservation
  • seat matrix, etc..

However if we go through 2019 state cut-offs for MP then chances for private medical colleges is tough as cut-offs are on higher side, you may have chances for private dental colleges such as

  • RKDF Dental College and Research Centre Bhopal
  • College of Dental Sciences, Rau, Indore
  • Guru Gobind Singh Dental College Burhanpur
  • Hitkarini Dental College and Hospital, Jabalpur
  • Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Indore, etc...

You can go through previous year state cut-offs for MP at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-mp

Through AIQ you may have chances in deemed universities for MBBS such as

  • JLN Medical College, Datta Meghe, Wardha
  • Dr. DY Patil Medical College and Hospt., Pune
  • Dr. DY Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai
  • Datta Meghe Nagpur

However this is purely based on previous year data, as I already said cut-offs are subjected to alter every year,
