Hey,
Look I will be very straight forward with you.
There is no such gap thing that matters in the field you are pursuing. If you want to further be placed in field related to pharmacy you can easily get it if you have that skills and if you clear the selection process.
As far as tech related field is concerned there are many companies like Accenture, TCS that has a minimum gap year criteria of one year.
So if you want to take jobs in science field you are good to go.
All the best.
Thank you
hello Dear,
Its all depends on your skills and your abilities. Jobs do not always depend on your record. It also sometimes depends on what you are in your profession. You have to be get ready with proper reasons of your gap in your education. So prepare for the next step.
good Luck
You will definitely get the job. Don't worry about the gap years. If you have successfully completed your M Pharma then you should apply to jobs. There is a possibility that big companies are not going to hire you because of your gap year, as it shows that you are a inconsistent candidate, but you can compensate your gap year by gaining enough experience in your respective field.
You can accept these kind of Jobs-
1. Pharmacologist
2. Drug and Quality Controller
3. Oncology Pharmacist
4. Or you can work in government sector also
You can initial salary of 2.5 lacs to 4 lacs depending upon the company.
Good Luck.
Hi Dear,
I understand your concern that you are worried that if you will be placed or not or if you will face any problem due to your gap year. But let me assure you that if you are studying Mpharma from top institute and if you perform well throughout the course then you'll be able to get into good company. However, you should be able to have a valid reason for gap years and show the interviewer what productive thing you have done in those gap year. You might face few difficulty but if you are good enough and is able to perform well then you'll be able to get placed. Also, I'll recommend you to work on your profile from now to stand out from the rest applicants.
Good Luck
hi,
see you would have to face questions about year gap, like what have you done in those years, what your personal goal of life, why have you taken pharmacy as career etc. so be prepared for this. now see employment gap is a major issue in india and for this our educational system are also responsible. students do not get job because they dont get the proper education to become a professional, there is less of creativity or internship works in bachelors course. the school syllabus for 12th also need to upgrade. however for some of the mncs you may not eligible, but NIPER is one of the best institute for pharmacy and you would surely get job in some of start up companies as well. just do work hard and make best use of your professional course that you can answer all questions asked in interview.
best of luck!
You are studying further that's good. After doing masters in pharma there are loads of opportunities for you. But see their is a recruitment process interview etc. There some jury may ask you about your gap years. Why you took them and what you did in those gap years. So brace yourself to ace in that field.
Campus placement depends on the university for providing platform as well as on you to perform well in the placement drive.
A 4 month gap is acceptable in the present market, however if you feel the need to explain, you may provide with details of something productive that you've done in those 4 months.

Hope this helps!!!
Hi Chirag, Yes absolutely you are eligible to pply for any job profile related to your domain. You can also sit for campus placements (if there are any) or you can apply off-campus. It totally depends on your confidence and knowledge to clear the interview for job application. However, they can ask you about the gap years, like why did you take the gap or so. Then you must prepare for those questions also.
Hope it helps, thankyou!
Yes, when you attend an interview you might be asked as to why there was a gap in your education but it is not going to be the case in any every interview you attend, it depends on the interviewer. Interview is just to know your personality, knowledge and to know whether you are right fit for the company/organization or not. There is nothing to take stress if you have GAP in your education. You can answer to that question honestly and get done with it. Answer it properly and tell them valid reason for the education . You do not have to worry. Be yourself and be honest.
