hiii I have completed bsc nutritions and for msc nutrition and dietetics I have downloaded the brochure it has mentioned that submit all the documents with course fee but I am lil confused where I have to submit ?

monag2673 2nd Oct, 2024

Hi! If you’ve completed your B.Sc. in Nutrition and are applying for an M.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics, and the brochure mentions submitting documents and course fees, it usually means that you need to submit these to the admissions office of the institution where you are applying.

Here are some general steps to clarify where to submit:

1. **Check the Brochure:** Look for specific instructions in the brochure under "Application Process" or "Admission Guidelines." It may mention whether the documents need to be submitted online, in person, or by post.

2. **Online Submission:** If the institution allows online submissions, there will typically be an application portal where you can upload scanned copies of your documents and pay the course fees through the online payment system.

3. **In-Person or Postal Submission:** If in-person or postal submission is required, the brochure should provide the address of the admissions office or registrar's office where the documents and fees need to be submitted. You may need to visit the college or send your documents via registered mail.

4. **Contact the College:** If it's still unclear, reach out to the admissions office via phone or email for confirmation.

Ensure that you follow the instructions carefully to avoid delays in your admission process.

I have completed my bsc nutrition and dietetics in . I want to do msc nutrition and dietetics . can I write this exam for msc in nutrition and dietetics or this exam is only for iit

monag2673 1st Oct, 2024

Yes, you can pursue an MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics after completing your BSc in the same field. Many universities and institutions in India offer MSc programs in Nutrition and Dietetics, and you can apply to these through their respective entrance exams.

However, if you're asking about a specific exam, such as **IIT-JAM**, it's important to note that IIT-JAM is primarily designed for admissions into MSc programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other top institutions in subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Biological Sciences. It does not typically offer admissions to MSc programs in Nutrition and Dietetics.

For an MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics, you would need to look for entrance exams conducted by universities and specialized institutes in this field. Some popular entrance exams include:

1. **DUET** (Delhi University Entrance Test)

2. **BHU PET** (Banaras Hindu University Postgraduate Entrance Test)

3. **TISS NET** (Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test)

4. **State-specific or university-specific entrance exams** for MSc Nutrition and Dietetics.

Therefore, while IIT exams like JAM may not be relevant, many other institutions conduct entrance exams specific to your field of interest.

hope this helps you!!

The route to MD involves:

  3. Securing a Seat: Based on your performance in the entrance exams and the available seats, you'll be assigned a medical college for your MD program.

Difference Between BSc and MSc

  • BSc (Bachelor of Science): A BSc degree is typically a three-year undergraduate program that provides a foundational understanding of a particular field. In the case of Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology, it covers the basics of surgical procedures, anesthesia administration, and related equipment.
