I took admission in b.tech and now want to drop it before my first sem and get into mumbai university for BMS (Business management studies) Im from SC Category and scored 80% in my 12th boards what are the possibilities to get into a good college in Mumbai University with a drop year.
Dear candidate
Irrespective of your drop, your admission possibilities will remain moderate in Mumbai University, due to your SC category and the percentage of marks obtained in 10+2 you still have fair chances of admission. However the possibilities are too high as in the merit list there will be immense competition for prestigious universities like Mumbai University, their admission is based on a Common Entrance Examination and your eligibility will remain minimum 45% in your 10+2.
Hope it helps!!

I missed an internal for one subject (6th semester, Mumbai University). Will my degree be held back?
Greetings of the day!
If someone who missed their examination either intenral or external then they will be required to give back paper exams on the semester they failed means if they failed in odd then they required to give the same examination in odd semesters only.
See, here you have mentioned the internal exmaiantiojn that means you can make requests for the teachers to take the examination again. You just required to talk and provide your genuine reason for missing it . Then after that you will be allowed to give the examination.
Surely your degree will be held back if you are not pass in any subject. That is why clear all the examinations in a single go without any issue.
Hope you understand.
Thanks!!!
