430 marks in neet 2025 belong to sc category and I am from Bihar.can I got government medical college for mbbs

SHUBHANGI SINHA 22nd Jun, 2025

Hello,

You have a reasonable chance of getting a government MBBS seat if you scored 430 on the NEET 2025 and are from Bihar and fall under the SC category.

AIQ

The typical cutoff score for SC individuals applying to government medical colleges on the AIQ is between 390 and 440. Even if 430 is within the range, getting into a top college is improbable because to the intense competition.

State Quota

The state quota cutoff may differ from the AIQ and be somewhat lower. You have higher chances of getting government MBBS seat in Bihar with 430 marks through state quota.

You will also have fair chance of getting BDS and BAMS because of their lower cutoff.

WHAT CAN YOU DO

  • Take part in BCECEB'S Bihar UGMAC counselling,
  • Sort the list of potential government collages according to your preferences.
  • Seats tend to shuffle, so pay attention to the second-round and mop up rounds.

SHUBHANGI SINHA 22nd Jun, 2025

Hello,

You have a strong probability of being admitted to BHMS colleges with 138 NEET 2025 scores and a ST category, particularly in government or private homeopathy colleges via state quota or All India AYUSH Counselling.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:

  • In your home state, sign up for state AYUSH counselling.
  • Monitor stray and mop-up rounds, as these frequently have open spots at lower scores.

Stay proactive during the counselling process.

Bams neet cut off 2025 for a general cetagery

SHUBHANGI SINHA 22nd Jun, 2025

Hello,

Growing interest in AYUSH and alternative medicine has made the BAMS program more competitive. The NEET 2025 anticipated cut- off for BAMS for applicants in general category varies depending on whether they want to attend government or private colleges.

EXPECTED CUT-OFF

  • Government College

For Delhi, Rajasthan, MP, UP: NEET score range 470-520+

For states like Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Northeast states: 420-470

  • Private Ayurvedic Colleges: Possible with 200- 400+

Particularly in regions like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka, certain colleges may even take into account scores below 200 under the management quota.

I have got 291 in neet n Im from OBC ...can i get mbbs seat

gopi 21st Jun, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Securing an MBBS seat with 291 in NEET from your OBC category is very tough in government medical colleges through All India Quota (AIQ) or most state quotas, since normally cutoffs are much higher. However, you may have opportunities in:

  • Deemed Universities or Private Medical Colleges (higher fees)
  • Management/NRI Quota seats
  • States with lower cutoff trends (e.g., some North-Eastern states if eligible)
  • BDS (Dental) seats are more accessible at this score

Ive got 315 in neet Category OBC ANY mbbs college with minimum fee

Avanishsree VP 21st Jun, 2025

With 315 NEET marks (OBC category), getting an MBBS seat in government colleges is unlikely.

You can try for private or deemed universities, where admission is possible but fees range from 5–20 lakhs per year.

Consider BDS or allied health courses if you want lower fees.

i have 60000 rank in neet ug 2025 can i get mbbs in any state

Shubham Jha 21st Jun, 2025

Dear student,

With a NEET 2025 rank of 60,000 , it’s highly unlikely that you’ll get an MBBS seat in a government medical college , no matter what category you belong to. In recent years, government colleges under All India Quota and most state quotas have closed around 25,000 to 40,000 ranks , especially for General and OBC categories . In 2024, for example, the last government MBBS seat closed at around 590 marks , which is much higher than the rank you're at.

However, you still have some decent options .

You can try for MBBS in private colleges , especially in states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh . These states have more private seats and sometimes lower cutoffs in the mop-up or stray vacancy rounds . Just keep in mind that fees are high , often Rs 10–25 lakh per year .

If that doesn't work out or isn't financially feasible, you have a good shot at BDS (Dental), BAMS (Ayurveda), or BHMS (Homeopathy) in both government and private colleges. These courses generally have lower cutoffs and are still good medical career options.

My Neet Score Is 380 So which Course is Best in My future

Avanishsree VP 21st Jun, 2025

  • If you’re passionate about medicine, BDS or BAMS are the best-value courses with career growth.
  • If budget is high, MBBS (private) is also possible.
  • If budget is low, consider B.Sc. Allied/Paramedical

I have 117 in neet on st category can I get clg

Avanishsree VP 21st Jun, 2025

With 117 marks in NEET under ST category, it is below the qualifying cutoff for MBBS/BDS admission in most states.

  • MBBS/BDS: Not likely, even under ST quota.
  • Alternative options: You can explore BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc. Nursing, Paramedical, or Veterinary (if eligible) through state-level counselling with lower cutoffs.

I have 117 in neet on st category can I get clg

lisa 1st Jul, 2025

With 117 marks in NEET under the ST category, it's unlikely you'll secure a seat in a government medical (MBBS/BDS) college, especially in a competitive state like West Bengal. The qualifying cutoff for MBBS/BDS is typically much higher, even for reserved categories. However, you might have a chance in other medical courses with lower cutoffs, or in private colleges with less stringent requirements.

I have 117 in neet on st category can I get clg

SHUBHANGI SINHA 6th Jul, 2025

Hello,

It is doubtful that you would be accepted into a government medical college's MBBS or BDS program if your NEET score falls into the ST category at 117. MBBS/BDS usually has a substantially higher NEET cutoff, especially for reserved categories like ST. But through state - level counselling, you could have possibilities in private colleges or in other professions like BAMS, BHMS, or B.Sc Nursing.
