nift question paper pattern in 2019

Hello,

NIFT exam pattern consists of three different levels of exam Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test. The institute assesses candidates knowledge, skill and aptitude through this national-level design aptitude exam.

In GAT exam includes Sections like:
English comprehension
Quantitative ability
Communication ability
Analytical ability
General knowledge and current affairs

NIFT Exam Pattern for Situation Test

The shortlisted candidates in CAT and GAT for Bachelor of Design will have to take situation test. It judges test-takers ability to handle the given set of materials along with innovation in a particular situation. Candidates must note that they are not allowed to carry any additional material. Evaluation of the model is done on the basis of space visualization, creativity, uniqueness, finishing, element composition, construction, colour scheme, and a lot more.

where to fill application form as the on official site is under some maintenance?

Hello ayushi,

The application will be only open on the official website only and do not found anywhere .

If the website is under the maintainance wait it will be for one day maximum and then you can fill the application form and pay the fees through it . Prepare well for the exam

good evening please tell me the age limit of nift exam

Hello there!

Greetings!

Age limit criteria for nift is that to be eligible for nift exam 2020 candidates should not be more than be of 23 years of age as on October 1, 2019. For those students who belongs to Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Person with Disability (PHP) have an age relaxation of five years , so for them maximum age limit is 28 years.

Hello.
Yes there are so many courses in fashion designing for which a MSc passed student can apply,
You can do diploma in fashion designing after your MSc, you can also do degree course in fashion designing but you will have to do it from bachelor's degree (BSc in fashion designing) and then you can also do masters in fashion designing after completion of your bachelor degree.

Greetings!

I can't tell you the exact dates as it's not been announced officially yet but yes start date of NIFT 2020 online application is fourth week of October 2019 , so you will be able to fill the application form once it is released. Last date to fill NIFT application form 2020 will be fourth week of December 2019, so you need to make sure that you fill the form before the last date while National Institute of Fashion Technology will conduct NIFT entrance exam in third week of January 2020 in pen and paper based mode. NIFT entrance exam is a gateway for getting admission in bachelor’s courses in Design (B. Des.) and Fashion Technology (B.F. Tech.). Is there any negative marking in nift gat for bdes programme in 2020 ?

Hello dear student,

The student no there is no negative marking in the next exam in this general aptitude test which consists of 150 questions and there is no negative marking in that section. Nandana 2 part is cat which is creative ability test and the test your ability for drawings and your skills in drawing. So no negative marking. I hope this was helpful

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) releases the notification of niftentrance exam 2020.
Most of the questions in GAT comes from various sections namely quantitative ability, analytical ability, communication ability and English comprehension, Current affairs and G.K, case study.
No marks will be deducted for wrong response.
