Accessories design in NIFT Jodhpur Or Textile design in NIFT Bangalore Which is better

abhisheksingh19121999_6969616 Student Expert 30th Jul, 2019
Hello,
It entirely depends on you. It's about your interest and priority. If you are very specific about course , you exactly know about the field of design you want to be in than choose the course. You feel good about accessory design , simply go for it . Same goes with textile design regardless of the campus.
But if you just want to enter into design regardless of the field  ( like accessory ,textile ,fashion, leather etc).
Than choose a better centre. Nift banglore is one among the top nift centres. If you still want to explore your design field than definitely opt out for nift banglore.
Hope this helps
Good luck

Wich is better..... Accessories design in NIFT Jodhpur....Or Textile design in NIFT Bangalore

Yash Vardhan Singh 30th Jul, 2019

Hello Radhika,

I'll suggest you to go for Textile design in NIFT Bangalore rather than opting Accessories design in NIFT Jodhpur. As NIFT Bangalore has a well-experienced faculty and also have well equipped lab with modern tools.

Also, Bangalore has a better hostel life as compared to Jodhpur.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!!

abhisheksingh19121999_6969616 Student Expert 30th Jul, 2019
Hello,
As of now nift has not released any update about the third councelling round. First councelling session is already done . Second councelling round is about to hault.
Nift does conduct third councelling round as per the availability of the vacant seats. It provides an opportunity to the candidates who did not get any seat in the first and the second round of councelling or who are interested in changing their course or centre which they were alloted. You will be required to register for the same by paying a registration fee of rs 5000 . You will be mailed about any further update about the same. Or you can check on the official site regularly so that you do not miss any update.

I secured a merit rank 1499 in my nift entrance EXAM from the general category, and currently in Ad bbsr, which campus can I shift with SPT

abhisheksingh19121999_6969616 Student Expert 30th Jul, 2019
Hello,
Student permanent transfer is a provision which provides students to change their centres permanently. It's done on the basis of availability of seats in various centres. Its very rare that a student lands up in delhi, mumbai , banglore through spt since chances of vacant seats are negligible in these centres. You can try for gandhinagar, bhopal, kannur or other centres. The details about the vacant seats will be shared to you by the nift authorities at the time of commencement of the second semester.
Good luck

Currently, Im a student of class 12 nd I really want to pursue fashion design at NIFT,but my parents are not okay to pay such a huge amount

akanshavg241 Student Expert 24th Jul, 2019
Hey Rishita,

The fee structure for NIFT is around 1.10 Lakhs per semester without any scholarship.

For the purpose of getting a scholarship to pursue designing from NIFT, You have to apply for “SARTHAK” NIFT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME. Under this if your parents annual income comes under these slabs then you can get scholarships.

  • A. Upto Rs. 1.5 Lakhs - 100% of the Tuition Fee
  • B Above Rs. 1.5 Lakhs upto Rs. 2.5 Lakhs - 75% of the Tuition Fee
  • C. Above Rs. 2.5 Lakhs upto Rs. 4.0 Lakhs - 50% of the Tuition Fee

(The money amount is Parental Income ceiling per annum and the percentage of tution fee mentioned will be given Financial
assistance in)

For more information regarding this scholarship program  refer this link :

Can I join isro after nift in design field

Yash Vardhan Singh 20th Jul, 2019

Hello Amresh,

No, you can't join Indian Space Research Organization after graduating from NIFT in design field. As there you don't have to design clothes or make them more fashionable. ISRO is the place which purely deals with Science and Technology and thus graduation in the field of Science is must.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!!

I am preparing for NIFT Bf-tech 2020 , so do i join in BRDS kolkata coaching institute, Pros & cons ....

abhisheksingh19121999_6969616 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019
Hello,
First of all I would like to bring this to your notice that the nift entrance exam for bftech comprises of only one part I.e. gat , general ability test. It has nothing to do with cat, creative ability test. The questions which are asked are from english ( comprehensive, vocabulary), mathematics ( basically 10th level ), general studies , reasoning , current affairs.
I feel one can easily do it without getting any help from any coaching institute. Coaching might help with the cat part but that is not included in that specific  exam. That is given for bdes. But if you are in your 12th grade and find it difficult to take out time for preparation then yes you can definitely look out for brds. It's a reputed design coaching centre. The succes rate is high too.
Hope this helps.
Good luck
