Hello,
Nift is about to wrap up its first round of bdes councelling. In every nift centre some seats are reserved for categories like scheduled caste ,scheduled tribe or obc . From this year a new reservation category known as ews category has been introduced . If a candidate is seeking admission under ews quota , then its mandatory for the candidate to submit his / her ews certificate in the precribed format at the time of councelling .

Hello,
Since you are an obc candidate ,so you can participate in the councelling process on the basis of your category merit rank. Looking at your all india rank and keeping in mind the previous trends ,its really difficult for you to land up in nift jodhpur that too in fashion design. Fashion design is one of the most reputed courses provided by nift. Hope fully you might get fashion design in nift srinagar or nift shillong. That too i say with a doubt.
If not fashion design then you can go for some other courses.

Based on your CMR 4186 and OBC category rank 947, it may not be possible for you to get in NIFT chennai.

Last year the last rank to get admission in NIFT Chennai for textile designing was 2760 in OBC category.

You may get textile designing in NIFT kangra.

for textile or fashion undoubtedly NIFT is a preferred choice, so the NIFT campuses you can check are:

NIFT patna,

NIFT Gandhinagar

NIFT mumbai,

NIFT banglore

NIFT chennai

NIFT kolkata

If you are going for textile designing in NIFT then nift kangra will definitely be wrong choice.The best nift for textile designing is nift delhi and other than that mumbai.If you are determined for specific course then always choose best colleges for it.
