HEY , I am getting a score of 121.5 in clat 2019 which nlus if any can i expect in general category and no state domicile ..

Rishie Chandan 4th Jun, 2019

Dear DEV KUMAR AHLAWAT,

Based on the rank predictor, your rank could be around 264 to 564. That is a really good score. Coming to the college, you could get into almost any NLU you want except the top two. According to last year cutoffs,

NLSIU : 66

NALSAR : 137

WBNUJS : 268

SO, except these, you could et almost any other NLU.

Hope my answer helped.

There are some NLUs (Bhopal, Lucknow, Gandhinagar) where there is reservation for Women so what does it mean for female candidates ?

Divyyanaa Hazarika 3rd Jun, 2019

Hello Aspirant,

National Law Universities grant reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/PH and women categories. All the National Law Universities have their own CLAT Reservation policies. The criteria are primarily considered during seat allotment process or at the time of counselling.

● NLIU, BHOPAL : 30 seats are reserved for women.

● GNLU : The reservation for women is not clearly mentioned.

● RMLNLU : The reservation for women is 20%

I hope this information helps you. Good luck!

I have scored 108 in clat 2019,according to the official answer key, I am from OBC NCL, is there any chance for NLUs?

Naina Das 3rd Jun, 2019

Dear Abhishek

Seeing last year cut off with 108 marks in clat you can get NLUs like

  • CNLU patna
  • NLU Odissa
  • NUALs Kochi
  • NLUJA gauhati
  • MNLU Nagpur

You may get it till last round of the counselling, and this year since the paper was easy the cut off are expected to be more high than last years.

Good luck

i got something 80 and plus score in clat 2019 , is there any chance of getting into any nlus

Souparni Student Expert 3rd Jun, 2019

Hello Priya,

Considering you belong to the Unreserved category, and according to the rank predictor tool, your probable rank range comes in between 6,464 to 7,664. If your actual score comes as per this expected or predicted score, there is a very slight chance of you landing a seat in any NLU because as per the previous year cutoff trends, the closing cutoff for MNLU Aurangabad was 4000.

However, there are many institutes which accept admission on the basis of CLAT score, some of them are -

  • Alliance University, Bangalore.
  • Galgotia's University, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad.
  • IFIM Law college, Karnataka.
  • Indore Institute of Law

There are plenty of others so keep a watch for them and keep your options open.

All the Best!

CLAT 2019 MARKS 130/200 TENTATIVE. ANY CHANCE OF GETTING ANY NLUS CONSIDERING 100 STUDENTS HAS SCORED 160+

Shreya Singh Student Expert 3rd Jun, 2019

Hello student,

Absolutely you have chances of getting into atleast 10 NLUs. The minimum score required by the top most NLU i.e NLSIU is 137 for general category. And they might have kept this cutoff keeping in mind how the students generally perform. So with the score you're mentioning you'll get a rank somewhere near 500. So you can definitely expect few NLUs. And you can surely apply for the NLU in your state so you can have an edge.

Cheers!

yadvi Student Expert 3rd Jun, 2019

Hiii Deepak

It's quite difficult to say but you might able to get lower NLUs and since you are domicile of Jharkhand and  compare to other category PWD candidates cutoff is less. You have a fair chance. Lets hope for the best and wait till the official cutoff list.

Hope I answer your question.

All the best!

Hai, I have completed my B.A.L.L.B n now I want to do LLM in abroad? Can I directly go for LLM there or any procedure? Please help me out

Sanjali Shukla 14th Feb, 2022

Hii,

The Admission Process varies from country to country, but usually requires the following documents:

  • A minimum of GPA of 3 and above.
  • Official College Transcripts
  • English Translation of the Official Transcripts (if not in English)
  • English Proficiency certificate (TOEFL/IELTS, etc.)
  • A maximum of 3 Recommendation letters
  • A Statement of Purpose or Motivation Letter
  • A Valid Passport

All the applications are usually made online with a minimal application fee of around INR 5,000-15,000. Many colleges, esp. in Europe, do not charge an application fee and the tuition fee is also less as compared to the US and UK, making it one of the feasible options for LLM education.

The course is highly popular in the US and UK. Hence, a number of Indian students prefer to pursue this advanced degree of 1-2 years duration in these two countries.

Most of the colleges provide Fall Admissions, Winter Admissions and Summer Admissions for LLM course, but students usually go for the Fall semester because of higher acceptance rate and various scholarships opportunities for international students.

Thanks.

Is it possible to get admission in any of the NLUs at a score of 105 in CLAT 2019

Sampoorna Kashyap 1st Jun, 2019
Assuming you belong to the unreserved category, with 105 marks, your predicted rank is in between 1380-2080
in the general merit list. Your marks are not qualifiable to get into any top NLU in the 1st cutoff. You can however get through the NLUs in Shimla and Jalandhar. But keeping in mind the difficulty level of this year's paper and that this prediction is solely based on previous years' trends, the cutoff trend might see a change. You can check your rank here:

I BELONG TO THE ST CATEGORY AND GOT 51.75 MARKS. IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY FOR ME GETTING ADMISSION IN NLUS

Naina Das 2nd Jun, 2019

Dear aspirate

Even if you belong to ST category your clat score is very low. You cannot get home state NLU also till last round. I would suggest you to either join private law college or tale a drop and appear for next year. Atleast score 90 marks or above to get admission in NLU.

Hope it helped you

Good luck
