In Karnataka CET, there is a horizontal reservation of 1% of total seats for NCC candidates across all categories. This means NCC quota seats are distributed within existing category reservations and do not change overall reservation percentages.

To be eligible for the NCC quota, candidates must have:

• A valid NCC ‘B’ certificate obtained during studies in Karnataka.

• Participation in recognized NCC camps such as Republic Day Camp or All India Thal Sainik Camp.

• Preference is given to candidates with the President’s Award.
