Yes ncert is must,don't leave ncert for jee mains and neet ,it is base ,also don't skip the question given in it ,however back exercises question is not of the neet level ,they are for mains and sometimes advanced ,from my point of view finish every chapter from ncert first and then only go with another standard books like HC Verma,sl Arora etc . If your fundamental will strong ,no one can beat you !
