is ncert enough for inorganic for jee advance exam

anvesha dey 18th Sep, 2021

Dear candidate, hope you are doing well. Yes , NCERT is enough for JEE advance but only for 85%. NCERT is the Bible for chemistry. You just need to read it line by line for more than four to five times and memorize it by heart. It is more than enough for JEE main but for advance level you can refer to different reference books like GRB by Dr. O. P Tandon. Also it is very much important to practice previous year questions for which you can use Arihant publications. Mostly there are repeated questions and the type of the question are similar.

Hope this helps you .

All the best

Shivanshu 26th Sep, 2021

Dear aspirant!

Hope your preparation is going well ! If you didn't read NCERT then please I will recommend you that firstly.then refer to other books for JEE mains and JEE advanced .you have to read H.C.verma carefully after that .your state level book will not work here as in this exam Students apper from all over India. So read NCERT first and then any general book and solve mock as many as you can and P.Y.Q is most important.

Thank you!

HC VERMA VS DC PANDEY WHICH BOOK IS BEST FOR JEE MAIN OR ADVANCE?? (NOTES :I AM BEGINNERS 11OR 12 mei HCV OR DC PANTRY NEHI PORA) PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION?OR MENE NCERT BOOK BHI NEHI KORA KIUKI HUM STATE LEVEL(WB) KA BOOK PORA THA .KYA MUJHE NCERT PHYSICS BHI PORNA HOGA?? IS NCERT ENOUGH FOR it

Vishesh Singh 17th Sep, 2021

Hello,

HC Verma is best.

HC Verma aims at building your concepts , so that eventually you can solve the questions in examples or exercises , after you have understood the topic clearly. Where as in DC Pandey , even the theory part appears that it wants you to just memorize answers to potential multiple type answers.

NCERT is not enough for JEE.

Hope you understand.

How to read and understand ncert physics book in less time

aswathypadinjakkara 13th Sep, 2021

Hi

Ncert physics textbook is little bit difficult for some students. It has long explanations for the concepts. So reading the textbook will take some time. If you have good concepts through any video lectures, notes then reading textbook will be easy. There is sections like points to ponder which gives a very brief idea about the chapter.

NCERT IS ENOUGH FOR CRACK KVPY IN SX STREAM?????

Arhana Chakraborty 9th Sep, 2021

Its dependent on the subject. For subjects like Biology, NCERT will be sufficient enough. But if you consider subject like Mathematics and Physics then NCERT may help you but you need to practice from other resources. Now if you consider chemistry then it can be really helpful in some parts such as Inorganic Chemistry but its not sufficient enough. So if you want you can study NCERT but for problem solving you need to practice from other resources.

Im in class 11 regular school student from science stream I already have Allen modules for my NEET 2023 preparation, should I buy other books like all in one arihant for school exam? Or I should stick to NCERT and Allen modules is this will beneficial for my school exam?

Disha Singh 7th Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant,
Honestly speaking , one should be clear with concepts.
NCERT is a must for competitive as well as school exams.
Go through it thoroughly. Side by side you solve Allen modules as well.
See, what matters is , the quality of study and not the quantity. Buy books only when you think you need them and are sure , you can read them.
Don't put too much load on yourself.
